We're kinda' like a virtual band, but sometimes we play live together... a band of different musicians, from different places, making some really cool music. Onefiftythree is a collection of very gifted Christian musicians, who periodically get together to create some wonderful music. Some have not met. Others are good friends. What we all share is our love for the Lord, and a desire to give Him the glory. We are just the instruments (ha ha) in His hands to spread the hope and Good News of the Gospel through Jesus Christ, our Lord....

Perfection of the Bible, as I understand it, means that the "autographa" (the originals) were without any type of error. We no longer have the originals, so what we have today is God’s Word that contains "man-induced" errors (copy/grammatical). There are sometimes apparent errors (were there two angels at the tomb or one?)... read more at http://www.onefiftythree.net/Blog.html

It's now just a fading memory, so rather than prepping the bird, vacuuming, setting the table and talking about what we are thankful for, we can move on to the next season.
Let’s say that I currently live at 1234 Anywhere Lane, Somewhere, USA . I have no plans for moving and there is nothing in the works like an offer on a new residence. If I told you that in X years from now I will be living at Y address, what would you think? Here are a few of your options: (1) "Wow, he’s smart. How does he know that?" (2) "Come on, what’s the trick?" or (3) "OK, this guy is a loony bird, and he can’t prove it anyway. Nobody can do that." The third response, I would venture to say, is the most likely. Hang on to your hat (or whatever is close by), because this actually has happened.

Amazingly, there was a person in history where a prediction like this actually came to pass. Thousands of years before he showed up at his new address, it was predicted that he would be in a major battle. He would be injured, but would emerge victorious over his enemy. Hundreds of years before he showed up at his new address, a few other things (among many) were predicted about him:

The town of his birth

The unique nature of his birth

Who his ancestors would be

How he would die

So, how could the people who predicted these things possibly have been correct? Were these folks loony birds? I had no choice regarding the town and nature (e.g. breech, other complications, etc.) of my birth, my ancestors (some wealthy ones would have been nice" just kidding!) and my [future] mode of death. How in the world could they do it? That’s the point. They could not do it, but God could. The person is, of course, Jesus, and the "predicting people" are the Old Testament prophets. Because of these and many other predictions, the Messiah had a very unique address in history. Mapquest and GoogleMaps were not needed. There was no need for an atlas. GPS was not required and there was no "recalculating." As we approach Christmas and the celebration of Jesus’ birth, let us remember that we have tremendous confidence in the reality that God intervened on our behalf. Why? God told us ahead of time what he planned to do and where he planned to do it. He sent a sinless Savior to the exact address he said he would. Now that is truly divine relocation!.
