Now that was touching Ann. It’s sad in a way. Especially for me after a hard day picking up my cross. And Satan coming against me. Some embraced the sharing of the gospel. This world is evil and full of rebellion to the true God. But God has a reason for the season. In other words God has a reason Ann why he just doesn’t take the earth out of commission now. All things must be full filled until the return of Christ where he will rule this world.

The memory of the soldiers might be important to the families and to their service for their country. But how God judges war or who is right and wrong is not an easy thing. We can turn to scripture for that. Whether any of these soldiers were saved I don’t know. Did they believe in Jesus and did they repent and believe in the gospel. We can pray but we have to put our faith in the risen biblical Lord Jesus Christ. In our memory we have to remember the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross because he boar the sins of the world. He did not come to condemn the world but to save it. It is hard to completely embrace that understanding when you realize the magna flux of evil in this world. It is ungodly. Christ said there’s not even one who is good. Only God is good. God is merciful.

At the same time it’s sad that some soldiers were so young and never got a chance to live a Christian life like some Christians. Or to have a life with the family.

May the Lord bless you and keep you.

Thank you for your comments Wayne; we indeed must focus on our walk with the Spirit, allowing ourselves to be formed as God would have it and pray for others as we go.
