Introduction



I want to thank the Indie Gospel community for welcoming me and giving me a place to share faith-inspired music, testimony, and artwork. This week, God placed on my heart the inspiration to release three new meditative Christian instrumental pieces, each created as a prayer of peace, hope, and quiet reflection.

Every track is paired with a piece of my faith-inspired abstract artwork, created during deep spiritual moments, symbolizing God’s healing presence and the movement of the Holy Spirit.

1. Gaga (2025 Remaster)




Artwork: Bloom in Faith — Heaven’s Glow



“Gaga (2025 Remaster)” is a gentle, spiritually reflective instrumental born during a time of deep personal loss. When someone very dear to me passed away, God met me in my grief with a whisper of peace — a reminder that His love carries us through every dark valley.

This newly remastered edition brings

  warmer tones
  and richer emotional depth

Each note carries the feeling of God quietly comforting the soul, lifting the heart, and reminding us that our loved ones rest safely in His eternal hands.

The artwork paired with this piece was created during the same season of sorrow.
Its soft turquoise, ivory, and warm golden hues reflect:

It symbolizes divine light shining through our broken places — reminding us that even through pain, God is forming something new, compassionate, and beautiful within us.

2. Peace of Christ – Christian Meditative Instrumental

“Peace of Christ” is a soft, warm meditative instrumental designed to bring the listener into Christ’s quiet, healing embrace. Its gentle tones slow the mind, soften the heart, and create a space where the Holy Spirit can bring stillness.

This piece reflects the Scripture:

“My peace I give you… Let not your heart be troubled.” — John 14:27

It is meant for prayer, reflection, and quiet moments with God.

“Grace in Motion” celebrates the living movement of the Holy Spirit — the way He breathes life, energy, and spiritual renewal into the soul.
This track flows gently, like waves of grace washing away heaviness and drawing the heart closer to God.

the fire of the Holy Spirit


the transformation of the soul


God’s strength during weakness


spiritual rebirth




This is a song of renewal, motion, and God’s living presence.


Artwork Meaning — Faith in Bloom: Radiant



This vibrant red, white, and black artwork was honored in an online exhibition and is one of my most powerful visual reflections. The bold colors symbolize:

  spiritual fire
  purification
  divine transformation
  radiant life breaking through darkness

It mirrors the energy of the Holy Spirit — intense, pure, and alive.

Together, the artwork and music create a spiritual experience of movement, healing, and the renewing presence of God.

My work is inspired by God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
I am Richard J. Spasoff, a Catholic writer, composer, and faith-inspired abstract artist from San Diego, California.

Through my art and music, I explore the balance between good and evil, light and darkness, and the transforming power of God’s divine energy within the abstract.

Walking by Faith in the Desert



The city shimmered with temptation, but my heart was dry ground. Every day became a small survival story — learning to depend entirely on God’s mercy and timing.

One evening I sat alone in my small apartment. There was no real door, only a drape. My bed had a hole in it the size of a tire. I didn’t have a suitcase — just a few plastic bags holding what remained of my life.

That night, I didn’t pray formally. I simply talked to God — my Father, my Savior, my guide.
He was everything to me.

I was lonely. I missed my family. I would call home just to hear my mother’s voice. She always reminded me:
“If you ever need anything, just come home.”

But I knew God had placed me in that desert for a purpose — to remove the anger inside me and teach me peace.

Then came the night when I had nothing left — not even toilet paper.
In desperation and faith, I walked to a nearby hotel to take some.

As I stepped out a back door, everything changed.

Red and blue lights flashed. Police officers were crouched behind cars. Armed suspects shouted back at them.
Without realizing it, I had walked directly into a live crime scene — in pajamas, carrying toilet paper in my jacket.

A deep, unmistakable nudge hit me:
“Get down.”

I obeyed instantly and crawled to safety as the Holy Spirit guided every movement. Not a single shot was fired while I was exposed.

Back in my tiny room, I lay down on my worn-out bed. I didn’t pray — I simply rested in God’s presence.
His mercy had carried me through danger I never even saw coming.





My Creative Journey



I’ve been creating art for over 45 years.

My journey began in photography — including a brief period as a police and court photographer — before moving into studio, commercial, and creative visual work.

I studied photography, graphic arts, and radio production at Palomar College.
I later hosted Hooked on Comedy Trivia on KCEO AM 1000 and worked on several shows at KLAV AM 1230 in Las Vegas, including collaborations with KFI’s Gary Owens.

Though health challenges now limit my ability to paint physically, I continue creating digital abstract works led by faith and the Holy Spirit.

I currently have over 100 unreleased pieces from the past twenty years that I plan to share soon.
