Getting dressed is always an important part of the day. In fact, before you can walk out your door for work, school or any other place you go, you have to put on clothing. Some days maybe you even wear your favorite shirt or blouse just because it makes you feel good. However it doesn’t end there. You also choose each day the attitude that you want to wear. Even when life is challenging and you hurt inside you can choose to be clothed in praise. The Bible speaks in Psalms 22:3 of how God inhabits or is enthroned in our praises. Funneling your thoughts and feelings thru Gods Holiness invites His presence in the middle of your circumstances. So as you walk thru the pain and frustrations of life God begins to pour in your heart His Oil of Joy in place of the heaviness of life’s issues. Good times are no exception to being clothed in His praise. As people see that you respond to everyday life and hard times with praise, God is Glorified. Living daily a life of worship clothes us in His Beauty.
“To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.””
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭61:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
