Marty and I have had the neatest friendship with our Friend, Bassist, and our Engineer BJ Marchand. After a long battle with ill health, messing with his heart and lungs and legs (Me too) BJK passed away two weeks ago Saturday. He rose the Victory Banner for real and is with the Lord for real and is now riding with the Lord! Knowing BJ, He probably convinced the Lord to ride Harleys... You can hear BJ in everyone of Marty's and my songs on our Indie Gospel Pages. and the dream that we all had of having a #1 song came true last year when "Come Back 2 Chronicles 7:14" was #1 for the 2013 year. He will be and is already, sorely missed. Here is a picture of BJ and I working on a song in the Control Room of the Studio... JB

To the membership: E. (Ed) Pettersen has been with IGA (Indie Gospel Artists) for a few years. Not to be confused with another Ed Pettersen (also a professional musician), who just joined us. Actually the new Ed bought the legal rights to the name which is why long time member Ed goes by E. Pettersen (confused yet- lol).

Ed (E.) has had several #1 songs on the IGA Chart and he had the #3 song of the 2013 year in "Baggage Claim". With all that, he was instrumental in helping put together the Project: "The Sound of Hope" which was IGA's offerring of a compilation of Songs from various artists in IGA which he was one of the artists on the album, in fact it slipped in as being the theme song of the Project was "Your Love" done by E. Pettersen. And Now, currently, he has the #3 song on the November Chart with "The Gift Of Love". I received a short message from Ed tonight (11-4-14) and here is the short message from him ..... I've been called to audition for America's Got Talent on Thursday at the Richmond Coliseum. " So guys, Let's lift Ed up in prayer for the Lord to use him mightily on such a program as "America's Got Talent" So that God can get the Glory! Amen? Here is Ed's facebook page so you can stop by and let him know we are praying for his audition. https://www.facebook.com/ed.pettersen?fref=ts ; In Him, JB

"I Wanna Go Home" By 2LiveByGrace I have always loved the intro to this song, ever since I first heard it a couple years ago. What is unique to this song is the way Greg captures the heart of the Prodigal Son. He was able to really express the heart of the Son, and the heart of God at the sametime. It was number 12 for the year 2013. and so this is the "Blast from the Past" from the Indie Artists Top 20 archives. Listen and enjoy.
This weeks Top Ten includes two songs that hit the chart and a couple of songs that fell off. (Such is the way of the Song Chart) The Two that fell off the chart were Alpha & Omega by Barry Winslow .. This song is definitely a keeper and it was on the chart for 4 weeks, since the chart was started. It was number 1 for two weeks in a row. Its that good.... it is the highest debuting song on the list this week
Our number #5 Song is "Safe and Secure" by Great Winds of Sounds of Trumpets. Our #1 song last week dropped to #5 this week. It is a very good song. It strikes the heart and leads you into knowing the Lord is there... AS Victor said in an email to me... "was written in response to the suffering of victims of major natural

disasters, such as Hurricane Katrina, the earthquake in

Haiti, trapped coal miners, and other images of dispair and hopelessness served up by the newsmedia" It is a touching song.. please give it a listen if you havent already
Our Number #4 Song is "I Depend of You" by Vince Brown. I Depend of You climbed up to #4 from our #6 position.
Our Number #3 Song is "I Thank God for the Little Things"" by Jessica Patrick Elam. This song is skyrocketing up the Charts. From out of nowhere to the week before last being Honorable Mention, to #10 to #3! Wow! ... Something about this song grows on you. The down home flavor, the Tennessee sound, the dobro parts in harmony, it just gets to you.. Great Song Jessica... I noticed also that its up there in the list on IndieGospelArtists as well.
Our Number #2 Song "Oh Lord" by Gary Weldon Sr. was #4 last week.. It is a good song.
Week of 10/24-30/2010
Two of my favorite songs that have been on the chart for 6 weeks are "Safe and Secure" and "Walk With Me". Fell off the chart this week.... They will be missed.

Safe and Secure" by Great Wind Sound of Trumpets now has a video that has been entered in the Indie Gospel Artists selection. You will enjoy that video. Guys, Great Wind Sounds of Trumpets, Keep up the good work for the Lord. wonderful ministry. Blessings and I hope to see another of your songs on the Chart soon.

"Walk With Me" by George Bongo. It was this song that I thought needed to be exposed. I thought maybe I could help a little if I had a list to put it on. That got me thinking about James Banfield's Top Ten Songs. After discussing with Ken Rich the owner of IGA. I began the journey. for the last 6 weeks Walk with me has been on the chart. George the song is so touching, from the heart. I wish you well and as with previous artists on the list, I hope to see you on the Top Ten again soon. With that being said, Here is This weeks Top Ten.

#10 "I Thank God for the Little Things" Jessica P. Elam really did a number when she wrote this song. It makes you realize that God is in everything we see. Even the little things. I Thank God has been on the chart for 5 Weeks. It came from out of nowhere to appear as an "Honorable Mention" and scooted up the chart to #3. Nice job Jessica... Blessings to you

#9 "Good Morning Jesus" imagine when you wake up, you start to get to moving.... feeling good, and say Good Morning Jesus... that is what this song does... Good Morning Jesus, Good Morning Father, Good Morning Holy Spirit. ... St. Aladin... you did a great job with the harmonies on the chorus, the beat gets you going... Thank you for a blessings.... OH.... Good Morning Jesus.. We Love you.

#8 "All About You" - Gary Weldon Sr. Wow, amazing! I did not realize that Gary has the #8 and #7 Songs on the chart. All about You entered the chart as the Bullet Song last week. . It sets the tempo, the mood, the reflectiveness ... Gary did a really good job on getting that quality into this song. Listen to the words and Reflect. One of these days We will see Gary on the national Christian Charts for real. Nice job Gary.

#7 "OH Lord" by Gary Weldon Sr. has been on the charts for 5 weeks. It made it to #2. What can I say? Gary is just a good songwriter and artist... Blessings Gary.

#6 "My Testimony" by AFC Praise from Euclid, Oh Back in the late 70's -80's I used to live in a small town Geneva, Oh. The music in NorthEast Ohio is different. They all get into great harmonies. AFC Praise is a prime example of these harmonies. My Testimony is a great example of the North Ohio Sound. Now, I really do not like rap, but the guys got me with their rap portion.. really cool guys... Give this song a listen... You might find it refreshing. Good Job AFC....

#5 ". Walking To the Door With Jesus" by Shawn Mafia.... Ok Shawn, you got a little smile on my face listening to "Walking". Love it. different, jazzy, hooked on the doggone thing.... Now there ya go again, gettin that smile.. I'm Walking to the Door with Jesus too... Great Song!!!!

#4 "Nothing Without You" by Barry Winslow.. This song has been all the way to #1 and its been on the chart for 6 weeks. Down from #1 last week Nothing without You is one good song to listen too. Barry does a great job in his usage of instruments, the "Sound" of the recording reminds you of the early 70's and yet there is a current sound to it as well. There is nothing like good lyrics to soldify a song... And this song rates up there as one of the best. Without You, I am nothing at all..... How true Barry. Blessings my friend.

#3 "Why Do I" by Jack Hoover. I like this song. good solid country. Now, mind you Jack sent me a note to let me know that the voice on the recording is done by a studio artist. But you know? It's the song.. and this song is right there. It has been on the charts for 4 weeks now and went up from #5 to #4. Good song Jack...

#2 "I Depend On You" by Vince Brown... "Depend" has been on the charts now for 5 weeks and looks like it will be on it for a few more weeks at this rate. Vince did a great job and my congratulations on the mixdown . The balance on all the instruments really are in balance with the vocals... Lord, We do depend on you... Blessings Vince....

#1 "Jesus is the Rock" by Barry and Teena Winslow .... You know, when you hear a song and it grabs you in the first 30seconds you got a good song on your hands. Jesus is the Rock is just such a song. The opening drums, the opening guitar lick, simple but driving.... and the lyrics.. they get you right away.. Teena's part in the second verse shows the life that really not to condusive to the life of Jesus, but she turn's around.... Cause "JESUS IS THE ROCK" that wont roll. Like I said a week or so ago... This song, if given a chance will hit the top 20 on the National Christian Charts for sure....

Its good to call everyone of these artists my Brothers and Sisters in the Lord... all striving to deliver the Word of God through song. Blessings to everyone... In HIM James

This week I have received a few messages and it is good to hear from all of you. Thank you. Our Top Ten songs this changed a little.. A couple fell off, but two new ones came on, and we have two new songs in the Bullet Song of the Week and the Honorable Mention. I am truly excited about the Bullet Song.. so without further ado, lets get into the New Weekly JB's Top Ten Songs.

10. " Why Do I " by Jack Hoover. (5Wks on the Chart) This song deals with a scripture that Paul wrote to us. Paul was even victim to the same thing that we were, even in this day... He is of course referring to Romans 7:15 15 I

do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but

what I hate I do. Jack did a great job in writing this song to depict that verse in its reality, one on one... Great Song Jack

09. " I Depend on You" - by Vince Brown (6 Wks on the Chart) Way to go Vince... Love this song.

08. "Potters Wheel" - by John Lord (2 Wks on the Chart) This song has a standard chord progression that you would recognize the ol C-Am-F-G progression.. What is so neat about this song is that John uses it to make you feel comfortable with the accompaniment so that you concentrate on the lyrics... Neat job John.. Give the song a listen I think you enjoy it.

07. "Nothing Without You" - by Barry Winslow (7Wks on the Chart) This song has been on the chart since its inception some 6 weeks ago. What can I say. Barry is a consumate songwriter and a very producer. He has been in the music business since 1960's so he definitely knows music. What I like is how the Lord got a hold of him and now he writes for the Lord. Awesome how the Lord moves. "Nothing Without You made it to #1 a couple of weeks ago.

06. "This Love" by Russel Leonce (2 Wks on the Chart) "This Love" was the Bullet Song last week and debuts on the chart at #6... Its got a catchy tune and a great beat... check it out.....

05. "My Testimony" - by AFC Praise (3Wks on the chart) Wow.. talk about harmonies.. they start off immediately with a great harmony... and it gets better! Great Job AFC.... I am looking forward to some more of your songs.... Blessings....

04. "Walking to the Door W/Jesus" by Shawn Mafia (4 Wks on the Chart) A great song , a little different but I like it....

03. " Good Morning Jesus" by St. Aladin (4 Wks on the Chart) This is a very uplifting song... It has the Reggae style but its really good and you can get into it very easily.. Give it a try....

02. " All About You" - by Gary Weldon Sr. (4 Wks on the Chart).. Gary sent me a message the other day,it was a short testimony of what he has gone through to get where he is today, serving the Lord.... it is on the blog.. check it out...

01. "Jesus is the Rock" by Barry and Teena Winslow (5 Wks on the chart) "Jesus is the Rock has been #1 for two weeks now. It gets you going. I t makes you feel the awesomeness of God and how he stands with you. And How you can lean on HIM through it all. Spread The Word about this song... It will make it to the Top 25 Christian Billboard Chart.. Its that good!...

Artist of the Week : Angela Dittmar.... Angela writes good praise and worship songs... and songs to the Lord. you can go to her Page listen to her music. She says that she is adding more each week.. Good Job Angela... Blessings...

The Bullet Song " "Holy Ghost Power Fall On Me" - by Jessica Patrick Elam.... our friend BJ Marchand heard the song and had this comment..." Man, this song has muzzle velocity!" .. Jessica .. you have a winner here... Wow......

"The Honorable Mention Song" by Angela Dittmar .. " King of the Universe " is a great worship song. You will find yourself participating in very short order. You did good Angela.. . Many blessings from all of us.. ..

And There You Have it... another Weeks "JB's Top Ten Songs" Have a blessed Week to all of you.

James Banfield

This Weeks New List is a good one. Congratulations to Jessica Patrick Elam on being the New #1 Song on the List. She nailed it with "HolyGhost Fall On Me" . 3 weeks ago it was the Bullet Song of the Week, then last week it was number 5 and now this week Its the number One Song on the Chart. Give it a listen... you will see why it is #1. just a word of warning on this song ... the doggone thing grows on ya ....

Our Number 2 song is Barry and Teena Winslow's "Jesus is the Rock" whic was at #1 for 3 weeks. By the way our Artist of the Week is also Barry and Teena Winslow, but not as artists but for the Album "Transition" which is an impressive work to say the least. Read his testimony on "Interviews with the Artists on the Top Ten".

#3 song is "This Love" by Russell Leonce... cool song.. great beat, and it even has some rap and calypso in it... It definitely raises your spirit... good job Russell

#4 "All About You" by Gary Weldon Sr. Gary also put a testimony on the site about the song "All About You". What a neat Testimony about the song Gary. I invite all to read it. Spread the word about this site too. I just sense that there are others who can benefit from the testimonies of the artists when they write of the songs they wrote. James

#5 "My Testimony" by AFC Praise ... These guys are great! what a harmony.. and they kick it off with that awesome harmony.. wow..

#6 "King of the Universe" by Angela Dittmar ... it sure is a fresh feeling to listen to a real Praise Song that others can into and sing along with Angela... close your eyes and listen and off you go.. into praise to the God Head... what a super Praise song, so easy to get into.... nice work Angela .. we look forward to more of the same .... James

#7 "Dont leave Christ out of the Music" by Mike Abrams ... Mike is not new to the list either. One of many Branches" was on the chart for 10 Weeks, one of the longest running songs since its inception. Mike wroite us a blurb on the testimony of "Dont Leave Christ out of the Music" Wait til you read it.. you will understand for real where this song is coming from.. Me being a songwriter too, can appreciate the gut wrenching revelation and having to write about it and hold nothing back..Last week it was the Bullet Song of the Week and debuts at #7.. . Mike again I say .. I stand with You.. You cannot circumnavigate The Name of Jesus .. .Amen

#8 "Nothin' Can!" ... by Sound Doctrine from Eureka, Ca. Last Week it was the Honorable Mention Song and this week it debuts at #8... you know what I like about this song? The Vocals are upfront where they should be. but the music is not left out either. the male voice and female voice are not in competition with each other they are working together as it should be in a marriage. The song reads as a song to the individual and yet still it shows how "Nothin' Can!" separate a marriage.. such is The Three Fold Chord" Hmm somebody ought to write a song about "3Fold Cord" ... James and Marty Banfield already did... LOL ... Hey Ken Tinkham .. you guys did a supper job on "Nothin' Can!" Blessings James

#9 "Good Morning Jesus" by St. Aladin ... This songs has been on the chart for 6Weeks and its just a good song, an uplifting song... it gets ya going for the day.... Good Morning Jesus, Good Morning Father, Good Morning Holy Spirit... ok St. Aladin ya did it .. you got me smiling while its playing.... Beautiful job... James

#10 "Potters Wheel" by John Lord... its been on for 4 weeks and you know I cant really put my finger on this song.. I just like it... Thanks for the blessing John ... James

Artist of the Week.. Actually this week it should be called "The Album of the Week" for real... its not about The Artists Barry and Teena Winslow .. but it is about The Lord and what he literally did in the recording session itself.. He let it be known that the Presence of God was in it from the get go. Read Barry's blurb on "Artists Interviews on the top ten songs" and you will see.. I highly recommend that if at all possible you order "Transitions" and then you will see/hear/sense The presence of the Lord in the whole project. Amen

Bullet Song" "Lord Show me" by George Bongo ... George Bongo is also not a newbie to the Top Ten List. "Walk With Me" was on the charts for 6 weeks and made it to #1 in late September. "Lord Show Me" is another excellent song from George Bongo. I think it will be around for a while... good song George... Blessings James

Honorable Mention "Make Time 4 God" by Michaelangelo. This song has been on the IndieGospelArtists for a long time. but slow pose me is just getting around to it.. sorry... this is a great song... I look forward to more from Michaelangelo in the near future. James

Blessings to all of you... James

Many blessings to those who have replied and left messages to JB's Top Ten. One even mentioned "that she starts the Top Ten and just lets it play through, while she does her chores. And the time seems to fly on by, while she is worshiping the Lord and listening to the music." Its good to hear those kind of replies. It makes it all worth it.

#1. This week We have a new #1, Congratulations to Mike Abrams and "Don't Leave Christ Out Of The Music". It has only been on the chart for 4 weeks.

#2. I wish there was a #1a and #1b.. cause this next song which was number 1 last week should really be #1b. It has been on the chart for 5 weeks.

#3. #3 is "King of the Universe" by Angela Dittmar Angela wrote a nice little message about this song and its meaning.. please check it out on "Interviews with the artists on the Top Ten list".. "King" has only been on the chart for 5 weeks.

#4. #4 is "Lord Show Me" by George Bongo. I like George's style and his treatment with all his accompiment. It is moving fast up the chart the week before last it was Bullet Song, last week it was #9, This week it is #4. It shot up 6 positions!

#5 #5 is none other that "Jesus Is The Rock" by Barry and Teena Winslow. "Jesus is the Rock" is one of the best contemporary gospel songs I have ever heard. Its been on the chart for 4 weeks now.
It has a great simple harmony and I bet you can't sit there and listen without singing "Nothin Can, Nothin can separate us ... " if you havent heard it yet, please do.. you will love it....

#7. #7 is "Make Time 4 God" by Michaelangelo It also started at the Honorable Mention the week before last, then to #10, and now to #7.. Mke Time 4 God has been on the IndieGospel list for a very long time, but it wasn't until 3 weeks ago that it finally hit the list. Nice Song Michaelangelo.. really a good song.....

#8 #8 is "This Love" by Russell Leonce... its been on the chart for 6 weeks Upbeat, Reggae flavor. Its just a great song... great job Russell... it reached #3 a couple of weeks ago. I love the background comments you find yourself snickering and smiling.. watch it.. its contagious....

#9. #9 "Lord, I Hear You Calling" by Joe Wamsley. Last week it was the Honorable Mention. Joe Wamsley is one of my favorite artists on IndieGospelArtists and is no stranger to IndieGospel Artists being one of most known.... Joe, welcome to JB's Top Ten Songs for this week being the Honorable Mention Song of the week

#10 #10 is, well ... it came from out of nowhere. It kinda snuck in. I found that I couldnt put "EvenSong" in the top ten list because it is a video. So that left a slot open at #10. Our Artist of the Week is Wayne Ralph and this song is a great song from his page.... Check out "Alive and Well". He has 5 albums to his credit.

Artist of the Month is Wayne Ralph..Wayne is from Canada...

Bullet Song is still Joe La Bianca

Honorable Mention is some guy with a song called "I Got Jesus" by me.
You know, I thought that there wasn't very many folks stopping by "James Banfield's Top Ten Songs" but I have found out that I am mistakenly incorrect. I am receiving comments on the songs that are on the weekly list. AND .. There are actually some folks that are waiting to see what the TOP 15 Songs of the Year were. The List is done and just waiting for Christmas EVE to post.
What I did was use three factors. First, I took all the songs that made #1 and #2 for past 15 weeks (Since the Top Ten Started) Then from that list I took the songs that ran #1 the most weeks and on down. Then the Songs that made it to #2 and on down. Then, finally, I took the original list and broke it down again accoreding to the Number of Weeks that it was on the charts. (Even Though a song didnt make #1 it might have been on the chart for more weeks than the average song, so that got put on the list.

After all was said and done, I think I have a fair and impartial list of JB's Top Ten Song list of the Top 15 Songs for 2010.

I pray that you all have a wonderful Holiday Season and remember, All the artists on Indie Gospel deserve to have their songs heard. You see, if an artist took the time to record the song, then someone must think that it is good enough to listen to, Right? I know I do and so does a lot of other artists here on Indie Gospel. That's why I like how Ken and Jean do the list on the main page of Indie Gospel Artists. Everyone gets a chance to be recognized. Good Work Ken and Jean ... Praise The Lord.
Oh ... dont forget to drop by God's Media Army ... http://godsmediaarmy1.spruz.com/ There are somethings happening over there as well.
Blessings to you all,
"Lord, Show Me" has been on the chart for 6 Weeks. The Longest running Song on the chart now, since "Jesus is The Rock" fell off the chart this week, is "HolyGhost Power Fall on Me". It has been on the Chart for 10 Weeks.
What an incredible blessing! ... You know, it really is a blessing that I get to go thru songs in the "Juke Box", and hear from others saying... "You gotta check this song out!" usually they are right. Such was the case of our Bullet Song for the Week. Ed Pettersen just uploaded a few songs a few days ago and among them was the Bullet Song of the Week: "Ground Zero". I received a message from Jean mentioning Ed and so I checked his material.. Beautiful ... I checked out the song that she had recommended "The Gift of Love" which was pretty good. But I started listening to them all because she said they were all good. Then I heard "Ground Zero" This is an incredible song, the lyrics will grab you, the song will grab you, the music matches the way it is presented. Great Job on "Ground Zero" Ed. I really look forward to more songs from Ed Pettersen. I need to tell the folks about this incredible song over at GMA too. They definitely need to come over here and check it out.
Anyways, Our #1 song is still "Love lifted Me" by Ulysses Brown ... The Bullet Song from last week "Growing" by Barry Winslow debuted at #7 while the Honorable Mention Song "Heart Mender Peace Sender" debuted at #9. The Song that has been on the Top Ten the longest since "Jesus is The Rock" is" Holy Ghost Fall on Me" . It is #10 on the list and has been on the Chart for 13 Weeks. Next Week it will tie "Jesus is the Rock" for the longest Running Song on the Chart. Jessica, We have been totally blessed with this song that the Lord has given you.... Blessings on you,

Mike Abrams "Don't Take Christ out of the Music fell off the chart after being on it for 10Weeks. AS Well as KennyB's "Let Your Glory".After 9 Weeks. Blessings to you all and have a great Week in the Lord... Enjoy listening to the Top Ten Songs of the Week. In Him, James Banfield

The Lord Jesus Christ. But How many Christians do you see actually telling others about their New Found Freedom, their Savior Jesus Christ? Not a whole lot, is there?
Here is a scripture that I am lead to give it is this, "" Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby. For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leads unto life, and few are they that find it."

What does this scripture mean to you? Does it mean that there are many many different roads into the kingdom of heaven, or one narrow way into the kingdom of heaven? Does it mean that I can be a "Good, Honest Man, and get into the kingdom of heaven or does it mean that the only way in is to "Go through the GATE "? " John 10:9 - I am the gate. If anyone enters through me , he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture."

There are movements, cults out there that says all you need to do is be nice . Help others, and there are many ways you can go to get to the kingdom of heaven.
Look at a couple of scriptures:
Mark 9:23 ... I can do all things through Him who strengthens me
John 1:3 Through him all things were made, and apart from him nothing was made that has been made.
Now Everyone should recognize this scripture.... John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." but what people forget is what it says in the very next verse ... John 3:17
3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Does it not make senseto say that The Word is The Creator, the Word died for our sins, And it was the Word that walked this earth in His Ministry to show us all, how to enter into the Kingdom of God. Everything goes Through Him. It even says that you can only get to the Father Through the Son, Through Him.

So They that say there are many ways into the kingdom do not know the true way. Those who say you can get into heaven by just being nice, do not know the scriptures. For The Creator himself said,John 14:6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
Lord, help them to find the right way, the narrow way.. "

YOU KNOW, for the most part, doing James Banfield's Top Ten Songlist has been fun. I get to listen to songs as they hit the "Juke Box", I get messages from others that say "Hey, JB, you gotta hear this one! its really good!" or, "JB you hear the new artist that hit the "Juke Box" this week? "

Case in; Point, Barry and Teena Winslow, Mike Abrams, Gary Weldon Sr., Jessica Patrick Elam, Jasmine Zervas, George Bongo, Great Sound Winds of Trumpets, Michaelangelo, and Isaac Johnson and our current #1 song "Love Lifted Me" by Ulysses Brown. Then there's Ed Pettersen a dynamite artist with great song on his player. But this week is different, really different. You see, there are songs that hit their peak and are coming down the chart as others are going up the chart. They all deserves to be #1 this week. This is My quandry This week. " Love lifted me", should it stay #1 or drop down a notch and bring "I will" up. But then "Essence" is the most reacted too, the most talked about song that I have seen in months of doing this. Just 3 short weeks ago it was the Bullet Song and now it has made a big splash around here. And Saturday will be a record breaking list. "HolyGhost Fall on Me" will tie "Jesus is the Rock" for the longest running song on the chart. 14 Weeks. I remember the first time I heard that song. I couldn't sit still! I mean, that lady had me just a tappin and a goin like I was down home at the grandparents farm singing up a storm! Praisin the Lord for all He's Done for me.And The interview that Marty and I did with Jessica was great! You could really see where that song came from by chatting with her. Yeah, This week is one of those weeks where every song on the list is Number 1 in my book.

You know, if I had a record company I would have everyone of those folks in that list signed and in the Record Company's stable of Artists. Then I would put them all in the same Praise Concert and tour the country

So, I guess this Saturday (tomorrow) will be a list among lists. Mainly because every song that is on the list tomorrow deserves to be Number 1 or #2. Now that's the kind of Quandry to be in. OH, what a chore ....
Chick a boom Chick a Boom Don't ya just love it! See ya tomorrow! oh,, yeah... Praise the Lord in everything we do today... how come? Cause HE deserves it! WE Love You Lord.. amen

It was a Sunday, no I did't go to church, I was at an Offroad Race in Las Vegas 1985. I was team capt of a pretty successful Team Called Sandak Racing out of Corona. I had just arrived home from the race and it was about 7pm at night. A friend of mine had given me a new bible and it was laying on the coffee table. whew, was I tired. I picked up the bible and began to read. Somewhere in the old testament. Pretty cool what was happening back then. I was laying on the couch and I fell asleep with the bible on my chest.

I was playing with this thing that looked like a hoola hoop with a stick. It was fun, I was about 10 years old. I was living with my sister, mom and dad on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. My mom was standing in the doorway and called me over to her and so I went. She said to me, "Son, your sister is sick and I have to stay here with her, your father is on the sea fishing." Then she handed me a basket and some denari and said, "it is you that must go to the market and get 5 loaves of bread and some fish" So I took the basket and feeling kinda proud I began my journey to the fish market.
The water was on my left as I walked up the beach towards the mouth of the Jordan River. AS I approached the fish market I could see there were a lot of people. So I went straight to the bread tent and asked for 5 loaves of bread. The lady smiled and put the 5 loaves in the basket for me and I gave the denari. I still had some denari left and went over to the fish tent and did the same thing. I handed over the denari and the man smiled and gave me two fish. I thanked him and began my journey back home. The water was now on my right. I really felt proud that mom would ask me to go all by myself to get the bread and fish.

I was about 1/2 way and off to my left there were a bunch of people beginning to gather on the hill to my left. I thought there sure is a lot of people, I wonder why they are there? and Continued to walk along the beach. Off to my right I saw a boat that was coming ashore. It had about a dozen men in it. It rolled ashore just in front of me. They all got out. The man with a beard and white robe got out and began to walk up the hill.

When I got even with the bow of the boat the man turned around and looked at me. He had the most incredible eyes of peace! He looked right at me and smiled. Then, he turned around and continued up the hill to this little plateau. Not thinking, I turned and followed Him. When we got to the plateau, I saw this rock so I went to the rock and sat down with my basket in front of me. I could see all around! there were thousands of people all around! He began to speak.

Nobody said a word, he spoke with this voice that could be heard over the whole hill! People were in awe. I just sat in amazement. Then he went back into the circle of friends that came with him and said, "We need to feed these people." The guy on his right said, "Feed Them? Where are we going to get the money to feed them?" Then the guy on his left pointed a finger at me, and said, "I See a young child with some bread and fish but what is that to this many people?" Then the man got up and walked towards me with those incredible eyes of peace and reached for my basket. He never said a word. He picked up my basket and walked over to the center of the circle of friends and lifted up my basket and thanks to God and then said, "Take these loaves and fish and break them up for these people to eat of". I saw the face of the man named Peter. He looked like the man with the eyes of peace was maybe a bit looney. Like he had said something that just couldnt be done. Nevertheless they began to break the fish and loaves and pass the pieces out.
After a long while the man said, "Now let us not waste anything and collect the scraps". Again that man called Peter was stupified! He looked around at all the people and shook his head in amazement again. Not believing that there could be one scrap left. But he said, "OK lets collect all the scraps". Scraps began to come in and in just a short time my basket was full of scraps, all the way to the top! and Peter said, "We another basket!" and a basket came from nowhere and it began to be filled. Now all the people there were really stupified! As another basket was needed as the scraps kept coming in. The men with him couldnt keep up with the scraps coming in finally the last scrap came in. There were 12 baskets in the circle, All filled to the top with scraps! People were staring at those baskets, some just shook their heads not believing what they had just seen. Then the man got up and picked up my basket and walked over to me and gave me back my basket. All of a sudden I got this thought. I AM LATE!! He smiled at me again and I got up, picked up my basket and ran down the hill to my home. I knew mom would be worried and ran as fast as I could.
When I got to within ear shot of the house I began to yell, "MOM! Mom! You Should have seen this man with this beard and eyes of peace! .. He did this awesome thing!!! MOM MOM!" She came to door with a look of worry on her face and as she saw me she had the biggest smile... and I reached her and told her. "MOM, this man with incredible eyes of peace looked at me and I followed him up the hill. He said so many wonderful things and then he took our basket of bread and fish and fed thousands of people. And then he gave me back our basket and it was full of these scraps and I handed the basket over to her. But.... then to my amazement as she reached for the basket I saw what was in it. It full of loaves of bread, and fish ... whole loaves of bread and whole fish!!! Amen
That was in 1985. It was not until 11/19/91 that I truly came to the Lord. I had not read the scriptures or the New Testament in its entirely. I did not know the scriptures of The Lord's Ministry. But years later in studying the Gospels I saw that each of the 4 gospels had something about that episode. Combine them all together and you have the dream that I had some 6 years before I accepted the Lord. ... aint HE Good? Blessings to you all.

I think its safe to say that we all are aware of Google Earth now and the things that it can do. For example, I can target the Pyramids of Egypt and zoom right down on them. Its really cool. The other night I was discussing with a friend about the Exodus of the Hebrews from Eygpt. Then I thought I wonder if we could zoom down and find the spot where they crossed. Well, I started with Google and searched the web and found a few articles on the Exodus and it was fun to check it out. But one of the pages was really interesting and I got into it. I found where Ron Wyatt (an archaeologist) found where the site was, discovered some Chariot Wheels in the Gulf and so on. wow! To make a long story short I had a ball going to Google Earth and zooming down on the site, seeing all the things that were in the scriptures right there in front of me through the satellite.
So if you would like to have some fun, I made a webpage with some directions so that you could enjoy the "Discovery" Too!
Here is the link so that you can go right to the page.. The Scripture in question is Exodus 14: So Here we go ...
