Hello to everyone once again. I would like to ask you to ponder the following question? What is the worst hurt a child of God can experience, excluding a death in the family? You may say it has to be going through a divorce, family member turning on you or maybe a wife or husband being unfaithful. These are very hurtful things, but my wife and I feel the absolute worst hurt we have gone through is that of a so-called Christian showing no compassion or empathy in our time of need.
My wife and I wrote a book, called "Only God". which was published two years ago. I would like to quote a few words from it which we hope will be beneficial to you in your daily christian life. The book says and I quote, "If you haven't experienced being hurt by someone at church, it is likely one of the worst pains you will ever feel. "To think the one you thought could help you or offer encourage is the one who ends up kicking you, when you are down. "The church is supposed to be the one place, where you are safe, people are accepting, forgiving and free from conflict and pain." "There are some churches, however; where some elements of strife, conflict, jealousy and hatred have crept into the congregation and caused them to forget what their real purpose is." "They live with blinders on, not seeing the needs and hurts of people."
Does this sound familiar to you? It sure does to us! Needless to say, God is not pleased with this type of behavior among his children. We, as Christians have enough problems with the devil constantly trying to kill, steal and destroy us every day of our lives. The old saying is the enemy of my enemy should be my friend, but sometimes when dealing with lukewarm Christians this is not always true. Satan should be the enemy of every child of God and we should be a friend to each other and help encourage one another especially when going through hard times, which we frequently do. In closing, I'd like you to examine your christian walk with God and ask Him to remove anything, which would cause you not to show empathy and compassion toward your fellowman, especially those, who are members of the family of God. God bless and keep you in His loving arms is my special prayer for everyone.

Good evening to everyone. I'd like to ask you a very important question, that all born-again children of God should ask themselves. When facing a difficult situation in our lives when do we ask our Heavenly Father for help? If you're like me and a large percentage of Christians, you wait until you've exhausted every means of solving the problem yourself and after, all efforts on our part have failed, we finally ask God to help us. Why do we not pray and ask God for His assistance before the problem, as far as what we can do, is completely out of control? Do we somehow feel that a God, who is all powerful, all knowing and can be everywhere at one time doesn't care about the problems we face in our Christian walk with Him? This could not be further from the truth. In Luke 12:27-31 King James Version (KJV) God lets us know that we are very important to Him and there is nothing we face in life, that He is not willing to face with us if we would just pray and ask him. Verse 27 says Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Verse 28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? Verse 29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. Verse 30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
Verse 31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 7:7-8 ... Verse 7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Verse 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. In closing I'd like to tell you about a situation that occurred when I took my wife to the hospital. She told me the following account of how the nurses were trying to find a vein to inject a type of medicine which was to travel to my wife's brain to show any abnormalities there. She said they tried the first vein with no luck at all, then tried 8 more times to find a vein but could not. She then told me that she was in so much pain because of the failed attempts to find a vein, into which they were to inject the medicine, that she asked the Lord to please help these nurses to find a good vein and the next time they tried they found it. I asked her, "why did you not pray before they even tried the first time to find a vein?" She said I really don't know. If you have problems arise in your life and you most assuredly you will, save yourself a lot of pain and heartache by asking God to intervene in the beginning. Please don't wait until the last minute to ask your Heavenly Father for his help. He loves you with a love that you can't even imagine and He wants to help you through all the ups and downs of this thing we call life. God bless everyone is my prayer and until next time may God be near and dear to you and make his countenance to shine upon you and show up and show out for you in your time of trials and tribulations. God bless, Jim
