Have you ever noticed how many Christians these days are overcome with fear, sadness, or anger? In a way, that's perfectly understandable in our world of uncertainty and chaos; but today's verse gives us a very different idea of how a follower of Christ is supposed to behave. 

How do we attain happiness? Just for fun, I searched Google the other day for "how to be happy." It seems many people are searching for happiness, and almost as many claim to have the answers. From "25 science-backed ways!" to "15 Habits of Incredibly Happy People" and "seven steps," the worldly-wise claim to be able to help us "be happy without really trying!"

If you’ve been reading these articles for any length of time, you know where I’m going, right? I don’t so much care what the world has to say about the subject; what matters is what God says. So we're going to spend the next couple of weeks looking at His Word to find out about this subject. Who knows? We might even come up with our own 15-step plan! 😉
