Not easy to do in a wicked ungodly world without being led by the spirit.

“Follow peace with all men , and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:” King James Version (KJV)
1 Peter 1:16 - Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 1 Peter 1:15 - But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Leviticus 11:44 - For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Hebrews 12:14 - Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Psalms 96:9 - O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
Psalms 30:4 - Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
Revelation 22:11 - He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
“ Therefore, scripturally speaking, the “saints” are the body of Christ, Christians, the church. All Christians are considered saints. All Christians are saints—and at the same time are called to be saints. First Corinthians 1:2 states it clearly: “To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy…” The words “sanctified” and “holy” come from the same Greek root as the word that is commonly translated “saints.” Christians are saints by virtue of their connection with Jesus Christ. Christians are called to be saints, to increasingly allow their daily life to more closely match their position in Christ. This is the biblical description and calling of the saints.” Reference Here
King James Version
15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
The body of Christ needs to be prepared for the wedding one day and if we cannot accept the times and procrastinate how can we be ready. The word of God in the bible tells us to always be ready because the lord our saviour/God will come like a thief in the night. So if we cannot let go of the world which we are commanded too obey the vein than we are in disobedience. Can we be saints and egotistical rebels at the same time. Yes, Soldiers of Christ but the weapons of war are not carnal. 2 Timothy 2:3
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. 2 Corinthians 10:4
Many are called but few are chosen. Are you ready? And in obedience.
