Lyrics-------------------
I learn the hard way
I did it my way
Storing up treasures looking for my crown
Kept on climbing no silver lining
Life’s going to teach when you fall back down
Some servility some humility
What is the lesson you learn from that
Whatever you do don’t do it for glory.
Just to look good and brag
Whatever you do don’t do it for the money
Cause money aint gonna last
Stop chasing the bag
Stop chasing the bag (4x)
When it goes sideways on dirt road byways
Who’s looking up and who’s looking down
Spellbinding beauty is blinding
Who’s gonna catch when fall back down
Some sensibility no credibility
Here is the lesson I learned from that
Whatever you do don’t do it for the glory
Just to look good and brag
Whatever you do don’t do it for the money
Cause money aint gonna last
Stop chasing the bag
Stop chasing the bag (4x)
Bridge
And when you give do you believe
Your just reward you have received
Whatever you do don’t do it for the glory
Just to look good and brag
Whatever you do don’t do it for the money
Cause money aint gonna last
Stop chasing the bag
Stop chasing the bag (7x)
