Worthy Charities
To help our currently featured charity visit Change for Children
James 1:27 Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.
In keeping with our Mission Statement, we exist to spread the Gospel and feed kids. Our network links to kids charities (on every page), in an attempt to draw support to worthy causes. We also maintain groups for charities, and actively promote them. If you are able, please help disadvantaged children in any way that you can. As a child sponsor, I can tell you that it is a very worthwhile and rewarding experience. At the very least, please consider adding one of these banners to your own web page, or network.
OWENDO - is committed to helping the most vulnerable members of rural communities, in the heart of Uganda, Africa. This network built a group for them, which initially served as their only Internet presence. One of our volunteer administrators John Lord, then built them a full featured website, which we now host on their behalf. Later a music video called "Support Childcare" was produced from footage taken by Owendo in Uganda, to raise consciousness about the plight of disadvantaged children. A clean water project has been born from these efforts, which is an encouraging success story - proving that we can make a difference.
ADOPTION FROM THE HEART - is a group on this network which supports The Mission for the Rural People India. Helping children and the elderly in the Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, Southern India - and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Carmel Children Home- It is a home for destitute children, who were abandoned to face a cruel fate. Many children are on the streets begging, working as child laborers, struggling for food and shelter. It's heartbreaking to see many children (typically girls age 12-15) forced into prostitution, and later dying of AIDS.
In these dire circumstances, Carmel Children Homegives shelter, food, and education. At present, we are housing 50 children and providing for their daily needs, irrespective of caste or creed.

Our mission is to empower the most vulnerable members of society, such as orphans, widows, and the disabled. We provide social-economic support in an attempt to create self reliance and sustainable livelihood.
