THE TRUE VINE EVANGELISM PROGRAM
Chapter One: God's Message To The World
Let's start by approaching the definition of Evangelism. Evangelism in simple terms is preaching the good news of God or the telling of the message that God has sent unto the world. This definition leads us to ask: What is God's message to the world? Why does God even desire to give a message to us? Consider the times we are living in. Is God able to relate to his people and stay current with today's tim ... es? Is his message still valid?
God has given a message and it has always been unchanging. The Bible tells us in the Hebrew's 13:8 Jesus is the same yesterday, and today, and forever, and that means his message is the same also. He is never changing, so does that mean that his message that he has given to the world some 2000 years ago is still the same and can be as relevant today as it always was? Yes! His message is talking to us in today’s terms with the understanding of how the world is today, in fact the Bible has prophesied of the events that we are dealing with right now. God's message is still the same: "For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
This is just one of the many messages that God has given unto the world! In this chapter we will begin by taking a look at God's message to the world.
