One way or another God will have a righteous people, herein he is appealing to us all to come to him and repent of sin, to come and reason this thing out, and to stop insane behaviors that are harmful in our lives. Either we will come to God and seek his forgiveness or, as we read further we find, "But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it."
