Preach The Gospel!
"And the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time, saying, Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee." Jonah 3:1,2
OUR CHALLENGE TODAY!
Does God really repeat himself? Why would he? We see here that in some cases he does. What prompts God to give everyone a second chance to get things right? Did Jonah deserve a second chance at this job after he previously ran away and hid from the task that God had called him to do, only to be swallowed by a great fish and later found by God and spewed out of the mouth of the fish onto dry ground? for more please visit:
Being One!
"And now I am no more in the world, but theses are in the world, and I am come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are." John 17:11
OUR CHALLENGE TODAY!
"Painted in white, the walkways came from two different entrances, and there were two people, each one on their own walkway, and as they departed they walked along the paths of these two separate walkways until soon the walkways came together as one, For more please visit: http://souls-for-christ.com/id33.html
There is Peace in Waiting!
"Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving; let your requests be made known unto God, and the peace of God which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 6,7
OUR CHALLENGE TODAY!
For a long time I have thought that waiting was a terrible thing, I hated waiting on God for things that I knew he could do now, and so many times instead of waiting I hurried through life, making it happen my own way, but as life continued on and as I grew older, by God's grace I began to get wisdom about this and began to experience God's perfect peace in the waiting! Embracing Change!
"Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed." 1 Corinthians 15:51
OUR CHALLENGE TODAY!
Sometimes we hate change, even if we are Christian we often hate change, and we will often use scripture to fight against change, some scripture such as, "I am the Lord, I change not." Malachi 3:6 or "Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever." Hebrews 13:8 and many others. And because change is not well received, some seek to support their opposition using the Bible. As We Grow In Maturity!
"And I brethren, could not speak unto you, as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able." 1 Corinthians 3:1,2
OUR CHALLENGE TODAY!
Many have received and understand the first principles of Christianity, the acceptance of Jesus into their heart, the Baptism by immersion, and the first principles of prayer and praise, but all too often there is little or no follow-up or continuance in the study of the word towards maturity. God Will Open The Door For You!
"Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest as I ought to speak." Collossians 4:2-4
OUR CHALLENGE TODAY!
Praying for others should be a significant part of a Christian's life and asking for prayer from others should not come to us as a shameful thing or with any reluctance. We all need each other! None of us can make it alone! For more please visit:
