PREPARATION!
"Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;" Luke 3:5
IN JESUS TODAY!
When we come to Jesus there are four things that happen in our lives to prepare us in the way of the Lord. First, "every valley shall be filled": the low spots in our life and the empty places in our heart are filled. OFFENSES WILL HAPPEN!
"My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able to bridle the whole body." James 3:1,2

Let's face the facts, no mater what we do, we will offend someone! It is impossible to please everyone and therefore impossible to not offend at least one person no matter what we do! This then, becomes a choice of who will we offend. For more please visit:

BLESSINGS!
"Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth." Mathew 5:3-5

There are nine categories of blessings in what is known as the Beatitudes or the Sermon on The Mount in Mathew 5. Nine times you will read "Blessed are", now of these nine can you find yourself in at least one of these, for example, "Blessed are the poor in spirit" For more please visit:
THE AFTERLIFE!
"For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come." 1Timothy 4:8

We hear it all the time, "Eat right, exercise, and sleep well." Instructions unto us to exercise and how important it is to our health and well being, but we see here that while bodily exercise is important, it is of little importance compared to salvation, love, and living a righteous life! PRAISE THE LORD!
"Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright." Psalm 33:1

As previously discussed, some people are afraid to rejoice, or don't know how and therefore have never tried.
