WAITING ON JESUS!
"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." Revelation 14:12
IN JESUS TODAY!
Who will be there in the end? Those who are patient in waiting on Jesus, those that keep the commandments of God, and those that have kept the faith of Jesus. Many religions agree that Jesus was, and far less religions agree that he is, and even far less, actually very few believe that he is to come! All but a few are willing to keep the faith that Jesus is coming again, he is to come! For more please visit:
EVERLASTING!
"The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee." Jeremiah 31:3
IN JESUS TODAY!
An everlasting love, this is a love that started at conception and will last unto eternity and beyond, there is no end to the love of God for you! God knows you from the womb, as it is written, "Thus saith the Lord that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou Jeshurun, whom I have chosen." Isaiah 44:2 For more please visit:
OVERCOMING TEMPTATION!
"And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the spirit into the wilderness, being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered." Luke 4:1,2
IN JESUS TODAY!
We need to stop here for a moment and observe. See here that Jesus who is the word of God, became flesh and dwelt among us, as it is written, "And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us," John 1:14a Notice now, that he is full of the Holy Ghost, this is what will be required for us, should we desire to overcome temptation. How do we get to that place where we are full of the Holy Ghost? For more please visit:
A NEW LIFE!
"And I will lay sinews on you, and I will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord." Ezekiel 37:6
IN JESUS TODAY!
Skin problems, lung problems, or any other type of ailments do not stand a chance against our God! Ye shall live! Here Ezekiel was made to sit in the midst of a valley which was full of dry bones, there was no life at all left in these old bones, but God saw it different, and because he wanted to see how Ezekiel saw things, he asked him, "And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest." Ezekiel 37:3 For more please visit:
COMPASSION SENSE!
"And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead." Luke 10:30
IN JESUS TODAY!
Many know this verse from the story of the Good Samaritan and how it teaches us to have compassion upon the hurting and we need to follow this example, however there is one more thing that we need to be mindful of, the Christian way of compassion is well known by many, this means that many have come to expect this help when they are hurting. BORN AGAIN!
"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God." John 3:3
IN JESUS TODAY!
Expect a change! When we come to Jesus, for whatever reason we have been drawn to him, we can expect a change. We will not stay the same. To some change is frightening, since many are set in their ways, even if those ways are not healthy, still change is scary to them, and because of the unknown they are reluctant, and hesitate to come to Jesus and live for him. Jesus loves us and wants to calm our fears, and to comfort our hearts. For more please visit:
DELIVERANCE!
"And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked. (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds); the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly..." 2 Peter 2:7-9a
IN JESUS TODAY!
Lot is righteous, not because of his choice to live in Sin City (Sodom & Gomorrah), but because his heart was sensitive and his ears were open to hear the righteous voice of God, we know this because he hated the evil of those that surrounded him. Now, when we are considered righteous by God, he isn't looking at our faults, he is looking at our present heart condition, and how we feel...
ASK, SEEK, KNOCK!
"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16
IN JESUS TODAY!
The last thing that Jesus might expect from us is that we are afraid to come to him when we have a need. He never wants us to fear him, he understands all of our trouble, because he has been through it before, as it is written, "For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin." Hebrews 4:15 For more please visit:
