About
Richard J. Spasoff is a Catholic composer, writer, and visual artist whose creative work flows from a deep commitment to faith, prayer, and spiritual reflection. Blending meditative ambience with Christian devotion, his music offers listeners a sanctuary of peace — gently unfolding like a flower blooming in sunlight. Each composition begins softly, opening layer by layer into warm, reflective soundscapes that inspire healing, contemplation, and closeness with God.
As a multidisciplinary artist, Richard’s visual art mirrors the same spiritual movement that defines his music. His Faith-Inspired Abstract pieces explore themes of grace, transformation, divine light, and the motion of the soul. Through layered color, symbolic forms, and flowing energy, his artwork creates a visual expression of prayer — a path toward peace and renewal.
Richard is also the author of Faith in the Desert: True Stories of God’s Protection and Grace, a devotional memoir capturing moments of divine intervention, inspiration, and personal transformation. His writing reflects the same spiritual gentleness found in his music and artwork: a desire to uplift, encourage, and remind others of God’s constant presence.
Across all mediums, Richard’s mission is simple yet profound: to bring comfort, healing, and spiritual clarity to others through the gifts God has given him. His work invites listeners and viewers into deeper moments of faith — where the heart becomes still, the Spirit speaks quietly, and God’s grace blooms like light through the soul.

New Release Showcase – Three Christian Meditative Instrumentals
New Release Showcase – Three Christian Meditative Instrumentals
By Richard J. Spasoff / Child of God Music
Introduction
I want to thank the Indie Gospel community for welcoming me and giving me a place to share faith-inspired music, testimony, and artwork. This week, God placed on my heart the inspiration to release three new meditative Christian instrumental pieces, each created as a prayer of peace, hope, and quiet reflection.
Every track is paired with a piece of my faith-inspired abstract artwork, created during deep spiritual moments, symbolizing God’s healing presence and the movement of the Holy Spirit.
Below are the full song reflections, artwork meaning, and the spiritual inspiration behind each piece.
1. Gaga (2025 Remaster)
Artwork: Bloom in Faith — Heaven’s Glow
“Gaga (2025 Remaster)” is a gentle, spiritually reflective instrumental born during a time of deep personal loss. When someone very dear to me passed away, God met me in my grief with a whisper of peace — a reminder that His love carries us through every dark valley.
This newly remastered edition brings
deeper clarity
warmer tones
and richer emotional depth
Each note carries the feeling of God quietly comforting the soul, lifting the heart, and reminding us that our loved ones rest safely in His eternal hands.
Artwork Meaning — Bloom in Faith: Heaven’s Glow
The artwork paired with this piece was created during the same season of sorrow.
Its soft turquoise, ivory, and warm golden hues reflect:
-
renewal
-
healing
-
the gentle transformation God brings to the soul
It symbolizes divine light shining through our broken places — reminding us that even through pain, God is forming something new, compassionate, and beautiful within us.
This piece is offered as a prayer for anyone needing calm, comfort, and the reassurance of God’s presence.
2. Peace of Christ – Christian Meditative Instrumental
Artwork: The Little Prayer
“Peace of Christ” is a soft, warm meditative instrumental designed to bring the listener into Christ’s quiet, healing embrace. Its gentle tones slow the mind, soften the heart, and create a space where the Holy Spirit can bring stillness.
This piece reflects the Scripture:
“My peace I give you… Let not your heart be troubled.” — John 14:27
It is meant for prayer, reflection, and quiet moments with God.
Artwork Meaning — The Little Prayer
The artwork features a young child resting peacefully in the glow of God’s presence, surrounded by symbols of faith. The gentle golden tones represent purity, innocence, and unwavering trust.
This piece visually expresses what the song feels like:
resting safely in God
letting go
trusting Him like a child
allowing His peace to fill every corner of the heart
3. Grace in Motion – Christian Meditative Instrumental
Artwork: Faith in Bloom — Radiant (Award-Winning Artwork)
“Grace in Motion” celebrates the living movement of the Holy Spirit — the way He breathes life, energy, and spiritual renewal into the soul.
This track flows gently, like waves of grace washing away heaviness and drawing the heart closer to God.
It carries a deeper emotional pulse, representing:
-
the fire of the Holy Spirit
-
the transformation of the soul
-
God’s strength during weakness
-
spiritual rebirth
This is a song of renewal, motion, and God’s living presence.
Artwork Meaning — Faith in Bloom: Radiant
This vibrant red, white, and black artwork was honored in an online exhibition and is one of my most powerful visual reflections. The bold colors symbolize:
spiritual fire
purification
divine transformation
radiant life breaking through darkness
It mirrors the energy of the Holy Spirit — intense, pure, and alive.
Together, the artwork and music create a spiritual experience of movement, healing, and the renewing presence of God.
Closing Thoughts
Each of these pieces was created prayerfully with the hope that they bring:
-
peace
-
comfort
-
spiritual reflection
-
and a moment of quiet with God
My goal is simply to share faith-inspired art and music that helps people feel God’s presence and healing.
Thank you, and God bless you all.
