David Erickson has been singing Christian music since he was twelve. He was born to the father and mother of four boys and one girl. David was the oldest. His dad, Wesley Erickson, and mother, Gladys, were ministers to the Native Americans in Nevada for over 30 years. The artist began leading worshsip when he was twelve years old, and continues until today. He has been the worship leader in churches in four different states including Alaska. Some of his songs were written and recorded in Alaska with only a microphone, a couple of music programs and a computer. His latest songs were recorded in a home studio in Carson City, NV. He believes he does all this to please the one who is above all, God.

Verse One
The voice of God is everywhere if you open your heart to hear.
When he speaks it is for your good and there is no need to fear.
He speaks to us often if we will be attentive to his voice.
The voice of God is there to instruct so we can make the right choice.

The voice of God is heard in the sound of a little baby crying.
He speaks through a still small voice or through a loving mother sighing.
I love to hear his voice when he teaches me and tells me that he cares.
The voice of God is strong and mighty, yet his kind love is always shared.
Verse Two
We must listen intently to the voice of God when He speaks to us.
He gives us truths through his word and to act on it is a must.
I am so thankful for the voice of God for he proclaims goodness over me.
The voice of God can instruct, reprove and comfort my heart eternally.
