I Won't Go Where You Are Not There
I Won’t Go Where (You Are Not There)
David Erickson
Chorus
I won’t go where you are not there.
I will follow you, Lord, anywhere.
I won’t go anywhere without your hand.
I will follow you home to the promise land.
(Repeat)
Verse One
How could I travel this weary path into eternity?
What road could I travel every day in order to be.
Pleasing to you and part of your plan unto the end.
Where would I be without you, my Lord. I would be in sin.
Verse two
Where in the world do you want me to go?
What do you want me to say and know?
Lead me into the things that are pleasing to your heart.
I won’t go where you are not there from the start.
Bridge
I won’t go there, where you are not there.
I will follow you, Lord my God, anywhere.
