I HAD A DREAM (OR A VISION)

I had a dream --Or a vision --I’m not really sure

But one thing’s clear—I could hear–Angels on Heaven’s shore

They were shouting—celebrating—cause many saints–had come home

And then I saw—our king Jesus–step down from His throne

He then placed many crowns on His head—wore a bloody vesture–as His robe

He mounted His trusty white steed—and out of Heaven’s gate–He rode

With His army of saints behind Him–He went boldly to face His foe

And with the sword of His mouth–He would slay–yes He would lay–His

enemies low

Yes out of His mouth-- goes a sharp--- two edged sword

And with that–He would smite-- all the nations

On His vesture was written–King of kings–Lord of lords

And with a rod of iron–he’d rule all creation

I saw the beast–and earthly kings–ready to make war

But they had lost–to the cross–so many years before

When they were bound–and were chained down–for another thousand years

And then were loosed–to try again–through failure and tears REPEAT CHORUS
