I am just a thread/ in God's great tapestry

He's weaving this fabric/ that I can not see

But when it is finished/ I know it will be

A perfect picture/ a thing of beauty

I may not be important/ at least in man's eyes

But God sees me differently/ and He is most wise

He sees the whole picture/of which we are a part

And if one part is missing/ it really hurts His heart
