GOD ROLLED BACK THE WATERS

Moses led God's people, out from Pharaoh's hand

Moses led God's people, toward the promise land

But Pharaoh would pursue them, tried to subdue them

And lead them again, into captivity

God rolled back the waters, of the Red Sea

The people walked through, into liberty

When they were all safe, on the far side

The Pharaoh pursued, the waters renewed, and they all died

Yes God rolled back the waters of the Red Sea

Opening a way where they could go free

Came to the Jordan river so wide

And He did once more, like He did before, He held back the tide

God holds back the waters, sweeping over me

Sins from old Satan, God's arch enemy

God provides a way, for me to be free

For I've just to claim, Jesus Holy name, and Satan will flee.
