meet the fater was a song that when we showed up for practice we had nothing to work with , so when i wrote meet the father i wanted to have a song what it would be like when i get to heaven , the lyrics say i cant wait to see what u have for for me what will i say or do when u open up the gates and let me through , now my time on this earth is done welcome in meet the father im the son , so everybody thinks they know how it will be when the get to heaven well theres mine , god bless
