I learned this scripture song back in the '80s, but I don't remember where it came from. If anyone knows who composed the music, I would love to know that and would gladly give them credit. I asked Eric to play with me on this one because the rhythm seemed to lend itself to more of a bluegrass styling.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,
That ye present your bodies a living sacrifice,
Holy, acceptable unto God,
Which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world:
But be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,
That ye may prove what is that good,
And acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
