The inspiration for this song came from Dr. Mike Baldock's book, podcast and ministry title, "Gaining the Victory." "Doc", asked me to write a song for his podcast and I agreed to do so. Shortly after his request, I was diagnosed with metastatic papillary thyroid cancer. The Lord gave me the words and music to this song during the car ride home from the hospital. The words of this song helped to encourage me and reassure me that we do have victory in Jesus ❤️🙏. After much faith, prayers, surgery, and radiation, I am now cancer free. Praise God! 🙌
