The name “Jeff Roberson and Nulife” has quickly became synonymous with the words “Anointed and Favored”. Understanding that God is a deliverer, this remnant of anointed Levites have purposed in their hearts to give “God the Glory” and allow Him to order their steps.

Born and raised in Long Island New York, Jeffrey Roberson, the son of Pentecostal parents had a strong love for music. Jeff spent much of his childhood in the church. As a child Jeff showed interest in the piano, and his parents encouraged him by investing in his gift. As an early teen, Jeff was blessed to be tutored by Gospel greats Rev. Timothy Wright the late Benny Cummings and the King's Temple Choir. Jeff toured with Benny Cummings around the country for several years, sharing concert billings with legends like Andre Crouch, James Cleveland and Edwin Hawkins. His exposure to these giants in the Gospel Music Ministry had quite an impact on his life. In this period Jeff was developing as a fine keyboardist and songwriter. He attended The Manhattan School of Music, but the desire to preach was too strong, and he left, seeking a higher calling as a minister. Through those years of tough times, is when Jeff fell into the snares of drugs and prison, but the hope of redemption was heavy upon his life.

Upon his return from the lifestyle of despair, the voice of the Lord spoke to Jeff and said "Sing about your Life's Story". Jeff immediately assembled a group of local area singers and musicians and began rehearsals. Within the first year Jeff was in the studio recording his first CD. It was then that Jeff Roberson & the Long Island Fellowship Ensemble "Got My Joy Back" was released in February, 2004. The album was not successful according to industry standards, but it became the foundation for Volume II.

A partnership was developed in 2003 which manifested an Indie record label-L.I.G.S (Long Island Gospel Sounds). The team of Jeff Roberson, Antonio Kelley, and Derrick Wood became the backbone of L.I.G.S. The label has invested interest in the promotion of new regional talents. The out look is very promising because of the style of music that L.I.G.S. represents.

God, being faithful and a rewarder of those who diligently seek him, allowed Jeff Roberson & LIFE to be recognized and nominated for a Grammy in 2007 for “Best Traditional Gospel Album of the Year”, The Bethesda Project. This encouraged Jeff and he quickly began working on his fourth project “Chosen Generation”, which is quickly becoming a favorite of the individual “who clearly understands the connection between your Praise and your Breakthrough!”.

Jeff Roberson and LIFE has been commissioned to sing the Gospel without compromise. This is the Lords doing and it is Marvelous in our eyes.
