I met some old friends I once knew back from a different world
who asked me to one of their parties with drinking and all kinds of girls

I read the news and hear the voices that rule in society
who speak of earthly things that just don't mean that much to me
so for those bewildered by this constant battle of spirit and flesh
wondering why they feel like aliens here among all the rest..I tell them
as far as light is from darkness
righteousness from evil
we are seperated from this worldÂ
to be God's own special people
