Over 20,000 children die everyday from hunger and hunger related diseases . Over half the world's hospital beds are filled with those suffering from water borne disease. Children in poor countries are often riddled with thousands of parasites, from  jiggers  to  worms .

It's disturbing, but don't turn away. God is very much concerned about how we treat the less fortunate. In fact, we are held accountible. James asks an important question: 

James 2:14   "What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him?" 

Christ himself gives us an answer to that question:

Matthew 25:42-46  " For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink... Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

The Sound of Hope   project spreads the Gospel and helps needy kids at the same time. It is rare and genuine altruism. The artists waived their song royalties. Even the album and video production were done on a volunteer basis - to ensure 100% of the funds reach the kids.

Funds are processed by  WAAOM , a 501(c)(3) Christian charity that makes giving safe and safe giving count . Buy a single song, an album download,  a physical CD, or donate - it all goes to needy kids. WAAOM does not even take out anything to cover their accounting and administrative costs.

God's plan calls us to do good works - not in order to be saved, or to put on a show, but out of a heart born of love. For those in Christ, this is the natural outworking of faith and the stamp of it's authenticity.  Thanks for helping needy kids.  hopemusic.net
