Zina Harber

About

Zina also referred to as "Z" or "Ms Zina," was born and raised in Compton, CA, a suburb of Los Angeles. At the early age of 5, Zina started singing at Double Rock Baptist Church in Compton, CA. In the 70's she sang with the Gospel Music Workshop of America under the directorship of the late Reverend James Cleveland. Zina went on to become the youngest member and tambourine player for Alexander Hamilton and the Voices of Inspiration. She also sang with a host of other groups and choirs. Thanks to her devotion, creativity and desire to write songs, she and Dottie Davis (Singletary) formed a duet called B.L.E.S.S.E.D. (Believing the Lord Every Single Second Each Day) in 2001. Through their passion in Christian ministry, they were given the opportunity to sing at the Union Rescue Mission special events and on the Comcast cable television series, Vision of Love Ministries. In 2006, Zina received the calling to become a solo artist. She was obedient to what the Lord spoke to her and she became Zina Music. The hummingbird and lily logo represent her intelligent, independent and encouraging spirit. Zina takes flight with her debut album, No Compromise
