Ryan Knauss, 23, of Corryton, Tennessee, died from injuries suffered in the attack on Thursday, August 26, 2021, near the Abbey Gate entrance to Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan.He was among 13 American service members killed, while dozens more were injured.
