There’s a fellow in our town
A little different from the rest
He loves to play his fiddle
His music is the best
Well, His name is Billy Bob the hillbilly goat
He Lives down on the farm
and Every year at Christmas time
he meanders into town
Yeah, He loves to look at the lights
They’re Lit up all over town
Decorations in the windows
Ther’s Snow on the ground
He stands up on his hind legs
Gota Straw hat on his head
cowboy boots on his feet
a Christmas shirt of green and red
yeah, He raises up his fiddle
Children gather round to hear
Jingle bells and Old St Nick
And songs of Christmas cheer
Well , He plays Away in a manger… and silent night
He sings of the star that shown
in Bethlehem so bright
Play it Billy
Well, When Christmas day is over
Billy bob heads out of town
Waves to all the townsfolk
Who followed him around
Well, Billy Bob he’s happy
As he skips along the way
Cause His favorite time of the year
Is Merry Christmas day
So He raises up his fiddle
Children gather round to hear
Jingle bells, and Old St Nick
And songs of Christmas cheer
He plays Away in a manger… and silent night
And sings of the star that’s shining yeah its shining oh so bright
As he nears the edge of town
He calls out to his friends
Have a Merry Christmas Ya’ll
Until… we meet… again
