DO YOU SHARE THE LOVE OF JESUS WITH OTHER PEOPLE? WE USUALLY THINK THAT PREACHERS ARE THE ONES WITH A PASSION TO LEAD PEOPLE TO JESUS. HOWEVER, EVERY BELIEVER SHOULD HAVE THAT SAME PASSION. WHEN WE TELL PEOPLE ABOUT JESUS, WE ARE NOT JUST PRESENTING A THEORY BUT THE FACTUAL ACCOUNT OF GOD'S DEALINGS WITH US AS REVEALED THROUGH THE BIBLE, WITH THE GREATEST WITNESS BEING THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS.
PEOPLE KEEP ASKING ME IF SATAN CAN TAKE GOD'S LOVE FROM US? CAN HE MAKE US MESS UP SO BAD THAT GOD WILL NOT LOVE US? I AM GOING TO ANSWER THIS IN A WAY THAT THERE WILL BE NO DOUBT FOR ANY OF YOU. All throughout history, mankind has been seeking ways to do the works of God. Everyone has a knowledge within them of the reality of God (Rom. 1:18-20), and a desire to be right with Him. However, just as with these Jews, few agree with the Lord as to how to do it. These Jews were willing to do something to obtain salvation, but they were not willing to commit themselves to Jesus and accept His gift.

ARE YOU DOING SOMETHING THAT YOU KNOW JESUS DOES NOT APPROVE OF? MY ADVISE TO YOU IS TO STOP WHATEVER IT IS. JESUS MAKES REFERENCE TO THIS IN MATTHEW 5:29-30 WHERE HE SAYS "And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell". IT MAY SOUND LIKE HE IS GOING A LITTLE TO THE EXTREME BUT THAT IS JUST HOW IMPORTANT IT IS.
DO YOU EXERCISE, EITHER WALK, JOG, OR GO TO A GYM? THERE IS SO MUCH TALK ON THIS THAT MOST OF US TRY TO DO SOMETHING TO KEEP OUR BODIES IN SHAPE. AT 80 YEARS OLD, I CAN'T DO MUCH OF THAT ANYMORE BUT I AM ABLE TO EXERCISE MY SPIRIT. WHAT ABOUT YOUR SPIRIT? DO YOU EXERCISE IT? WE KNOW OUR BODIES HAVE TO BE TAKEN CARE OF IN ORDER FOR THEM TO WORK PROPERLY. WE HAVE TO MAKE SURE WE EAT GOOD, DRINK PLENTY OF WATER, AND PROTECT OURSELVES FROM ANYTHING THAT WILL HARM US.
OUR SPIRITS NEED TO BE TAKEN CARE OF AS WELL AS OUR BODIES. THEY NEED TO BE TRAINED IN THE THINGS OF GOD. THEY NEED TO BE FED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD'S WORD AND WATERED BY HIS "LIVING WATER". JUST AS OUR BODIES WILL BECOME UNPRODUCTIVE, OUR SPIRITS WILL ALSO BECOME UNPRODUCTIVE IF WE DON'T TAKE CARE OF THEM. IF WE TRY TO RELY ON THE THINGS WE HAVE BEEN...

The word 'know' can mean many things from as little as 'to perceive with the senses or the mind' to a much deeper meaning of 'a thorough experience with.'
This knowing, then, is not just intellectual, but a personal, intimate understanding. Jesus defines eternal life as knowing God the Father and Jesus Christ. Eternal life is having an intimate, personal relationship with God the Father and Jesus the Son. This intimacy with God is what salvation is all about.
