"I AM HEALED IN THE NAME OF JESUS" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

I HAVE WRITTEN ABOUT THIS BEFORE AND I AM WRITING ABOUT IT AGAIN TO TRY TO HELP YOU BUILD YOUR FAITH TO KNOW THAT JESUS WILL HEAL YOU. SOMETIMES WHEN WE SEE THAT IT WORKS FOR SOMEONE YOU KNOW, YOU START BELIEVING IT WILL WORK FOR YOU.  I PRAY THAT THIS WILL HELP SOMEONE.

HAVE YOU OR SOMEONE YOU LOVE BEEN TOLD BY THE DOCTORS THAT YOU OR THEY HAVE AN INCURABLE DISEASE?  DON'T BELIEVE THEM.  I SAY THIS BECAUSE I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH MENIERE'S DISEASE WHICH THEY SAID WAS INCURABLE.  THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF MENIERE'S DISEASE. (A disease of unknown cause affecting the membranous labyrinth of the ear, causing progressive deafness and attacks of tinnitus and vertigo.)

WELL, I AM HEAR TO TELL YOU THAT IT WASN'T INCURABLE.  I HAVE BEEN HEALED AND THE CREDIT GOES TO JESUS.  HE SAID NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM.  I SUFFERED...

"THE BEST SINNER" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

"THE BEST SINNER" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Matthew 5:20, "For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven."

MATTHEW 5:17-22

What did Jesus mean? Since the Pharisees fasted twice each week, does this mean we have to fast three times each week? Since they paid tithes on everything including spices, does this mean that anyone who fails to tithe is doomed to hell?

No! Definitely not. The Pharisees' righteousness was based on their actions. Jesus is advocating a righteousness that is based on faith in what He did for us.

Trusting in our own actions will never grant us access to God. We may be better than others, but who wants to be the best sinner that ever went to hell? We have all sinned and come short of perfection which is what God requires (Rom. 3:23).

The only one who was ever good enough...

"SHARING JESUS WITH EVERYONE" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

"SHARING JESUS WITH EVERYONE" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

WHEN YOU TALK ABOUT JESUS IN PUBLIC, ISN'T IT STRANGE HOW PEOPLE REACT?  I CAN REMEMBER WHEN I WAS TRAVELING, I WOULD STOP IN A GROCERY STORE AND WHEN SOMEONE WOULD ASK ME "HOW ARE YOU DOING TODAY?" I WOULD SAY "I AM HEALED IN THE NAME OF JESUS" OR "JESUS IS BLESSING ME EVERY DAY". EVERYTHING WOULD GET VERY QUIET.

SINCE I WAS A SALESMAN, I HAD OVER A HUNDRED CUSTOMERS THAT I CALLED ON EVERY MONTH AND SOME TWICE A MONTH.  I NEVER HELD BACK WHEN IT CAME TO TALKING ABOUT JESUS AND EVERYONE KNEW THAT I WAS A CHRISTIAN.  AFTER GETTING TO KNOW THEM, WHEN THEY WERE SICK THEY WOULD ASK IF I WOULD PRAY FOR THEM. I AM SURE SOME OF THEM THOUGHT I WOULD SAY, "SURE I WILL" AND THEN FORGET ALL ABOUT IT WHEN I LEFT. NO, I WOULD PRAY FOR THEM RIGHT THERE IN THEIR SHOP OR STORE.  THE REALLY WONDERFUL THING ABOUT IT IS, SOME OF THEM HAD FAITH TO BELIEVE AND WERE HEALED.  AFTER THAT, WHENEVER THEY WOULD BE...

"SALT SHAKERS" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

"SALT SHAKERS" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Matthew 5:13, "Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men."

MATTHEW 5:13-16

What is it that will be cast out and trodden under foot of men? Is it the salt, or is it possible that Jesus is speaking about the world? If we as believers lose our preserving influence, then there is no other way for the Lord to save the world. It will be dominated by men.

God flows through His people. It is not our own power that changes people. It's God's power in us. but God will not do it without us. It's a partnership.

Many people spend a lifetime praying for God to move, not understanding that He is going to flow through them. It is not God who is failing to intervene. It is God's people who are failing to cooperate and let Him flow through...

"TRULY SEEKING JESUS" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

"TRULY SEEKING JESUS" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

ARE YOU REALLY SEEKING THE LORD?  I DON'T MEAN JUST GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS LIKE PRAYING WHENEVER YOU ARE IN NEED OR IN TROUBLE OR GOING TO CHURCH EVERY SUNDAY TO SHOW PEOPLE HOW HOLY YOU ARE.  I KNOW THIS IS TERRIBLE TO SAY ABOUT SOMEONE BUT WE ALL GET CAUGHT UP IN OURSELVES ONCE IN A WHILE AND IT DOESN'T HURT TO HAVE A LITTLE REMINDER NOT TO DO THIS.

I KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT BECAUSE I HAVE DONE THIS IN THE PAST.  I WOULD GO TO CHURCH AND SIT WHERE I COULD REALLY BE SEEN AND RAISE MY HANDS IN WORSHIP.  I WAS NOT REALLY WORSHIPPING BUT SHOWING OFF AND WANTING EVERYONE TO THINK I WAS A WONDERFUL CHRISTIAN MAN.  WHAT A JOKE I WAS. I REALLY HAD TO ASK GOD TO FORGIVE ME...

"HE WILL SHARE HIS REWARD" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

"HE WILL SHARE HIS REWARD" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Matthew 5:12, "Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great [is] your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you."

MATTHEW 5:10-12

Jesus is saying that persecution should actually cause us to rejoice. There are many positive things about persecution but one of the best reasons to rejoice is because of the reward awaiting us in heaven.

Jesus takes the persecution of His saints very seriously as can be seen during the Damascus road experience of the apostle Paul. The Lord asked Paul (then Saul), "Why are you persecuting me?" (Acts 9:4) He didn't say, "Why are you persecuting my people?" but "Why are you persecuting me?"

It is not actually us that people are rejecting but they are rejecting the One we represent. Therefore, Jesus promised to share His reward with us. All the glory and honor that Jesus has and will receive will be shared with...

"WE ALL NEED TO LEARN PATIENCE" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

"WE ALL NEED TO LEARN PATIENCE" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

THIS MORNING AS I WAS STUDYING ROMANS, I STOPPED ON CHAPTER 5, VERSE 2, WHERE IT TALKS ABOUT PATIENCE.  MY DEFINITION OF PATIENCE, BEFORE I READ THE FULL DEFINITION, WAS "JUST WAIT ON IT".  AFTER LOOKING IT UP, I FOUND THAT I WAS WAY OFF.  THE NOAH WEBSTER'S DICTIONARY OF 1828 SAYS IT MEANS "The suffering of afflictions, pain, toil, calamity, provocation or other evil, with a calm, unruffled temper; endurance without murmuring or fretfulness."  DOESN'T THIS SOUND JUST LIKE JESUS?  HE MUST HAVE ENDURED ALL OF THESE DURING HIS LIFE ON EARTH.  HE WAS THE CREATOR AND MOST OF HIS CREATION REJECTED HIM. THAT HAD TO REALLY HURT HIM.

"ONLY THE HUNGRY ARE FED" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

"ONLY THE HUNGRY ARE FED" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Matthew 5:6, "Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."

MATTHEW 5:1-9

In the natural world, people eat even when they aren't hungry. Many of us can prove that by turning sideways and looking at ourselves in the mirror. But in the spiritual realm, only those who are hungry can get fed. One of the worst things that can happen to us is spiritual complacency.

Being hungry for the things of God is one of the best things that can happen to us. Most people don't feel that way. They would rather have the feeling of being full. But Jesus promised us that fullness would follow hunger. No hunger, no fullness.

Therefore, what many people hate is actually a sign of spiritual health. Longing for more of God is a healthy sign. No one hungers for God on their own. That is not the nature of man. No man hungers for God unless the Spirit...

"AT THY WORD" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

"AT THY WORD" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Luke 5:5, "And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net."

LUKE 5:1-11

Peter and his companions had been working hard all night. Their efforts had not produced even one fish. They had given up and were headed home. But Jesus told them to try it just one more time.

It would have been easy for Peter to reject Jesus' command. After all, Peter had been a fisherman all his life. Jesus was just a preacher. What did He know about fishing? Yet something, or rather someone, caused Peter to try just once more.

Many people are like Simon Peter and his partners. They have done all that they know to do and yet they've come up empty-handed. This breeds a despair and hopelessness that causes many people to quit trying. Yet, just one word from Jesus could make the same tasks that have been...

"PRAISE THE LORD" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

"PRAISE THE LORD" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO PRAISE THE LORD?  I KNOW ALL OF YOU HAVE HEARD THE SONG THAT SAYS "PRAISE THE LORD, OH MY SOUL, PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME", BUT HOW DO WE PRAISE HIM?  THE WORD PRAISE MEANS "TO GLORIFY, WORSHIP, OR HONOR".  NOW WE ALL CAN DO THAT.  WHEN WE ARE ALONE WITH HIM, WE CAN TELL HIM THAT WE LOVE HIM. THANK HIM FOR SAVING US AND ALSO FOR ALL THE THINGS HE HAS, AND IS, DOING FOR US, THINGS THAT WE DON'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT.

WORSHIP HIM BY SINGING TO HIM WITH WORDS THAT COME STRAIGHT FROM YOUR HEART.  IT DOESN'T MATTER IF THE WORDS DON'T RHYME OR THAT YOU CAN'T CARRY A TUNE.  I AM SURE HE WILL LOVE IT.  IN HEBREWS 13:15, PAUL TELLS US TO DO THIS  WHERE HE SAYS "By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name."
