"WILL YOU FORGIVE?" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

WILL YOU FORGIVE?

YES, IT IS TIME AGAIN FOR THE FORGIVENESS MESSAGE. THERE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE THAT NEEDS TO FORGIVE SOMEONE.  YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.  HOW LONG ARE YOU GOING TO HOLD THAT GRUDGE.  IT IS ONLY HURTING YOU.  DO YOU EVEN REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS ALL ABOUT? GO AND MAKE IT RIGHT, ESPECIALLY SINCE JESUS HAS FORGIVEN YOU. WHAT BETTER WAY TO SHOW HIM HOW MUCH YOU LOVE HIM THAN TO FORGIVE SOMEONE ELSE.  IT IS UP TO YOU.

THERE ARE ALSO SOME OF YOU OTHER PEOPLE THAT NEEDS TO FORGIVE SOMEONE.  IT MIGHT BE YOUR PARENTS, YOUR...

Circumcision Is A Matter Of The Heart

John 18:14 'Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.'

The physical nation of Israel still has a very important part to play in God's plan. They have a prominent role in end-time prophecy. However, the physical nation of Israel has been displaced in importance by the spiritual seed of Abraham, that is the church of Jesus Christ.

Christians are the true circumcised people of God. In Romans 2:28-29, Paul reveals that true circumcision is a matter of the heart, not the flesh, and that true Judaism is through new birth, not physical birth.

In Colossians 2:11, Paul says that spiritual circumcision was done by God without the hands of man. This...

Fight The Battle In The Spirit

John 18:10 'Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.'

JOHN 18:10-11

It is the apostle John who reveals Peter as the one who cut off the servant's ear and also identifies the servant. It is very doubtful that Peter was aiming for Malchus' ear. It is more probable that he was making a horizontal swing at the servant's head and as the man ducked, Peter cut off his ear.

Peter was very vocal about never denying the Lord, and his actions proved that he meant what he said. There were only two swords among the disciples, yet Peter was willing to take on these six hundred soldiers. This spelled certain death or...

"STAYING IN GOD'S WORD" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

STAYING IN GOD'S WORD

DO YOU WALK, JOG, OR GO TO A GYM?  THERE IS SO MUCH TALK ABOUT EXERCISING THESE DAYS AND MOST OF US TRY TO DO SOMETHING TO KEEP OUR BODIES IN SHAPE BUT WHAT ABOUT YOUR SPIRIT?   DO YOU EXERCISE IT?   WE KNOW OUR BODIES HAVE TO BE TAKEN CARE OF IN ORDER FOR THEM TO WORK PROPERLY.    WE HAVE TO MAKE SURE WE EAT GOOD, DRINK PLENTY OF WATER, AND PROTECT OURSELVES FROM  ANYTHING THAT WILL HARM US.

OUR SPIRITS NEED TO BE TAKEN CARE OF AS WELL AS OUR BODIES.  THEY NEED TO BE TRAINED IN THE THINGS OF GOD. THEY NEED TO BE FED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD'S WORD AND WATERED BY HIS "LIVING WATER".  JUST AS OUR BODIES WILL BECOME UNPRODUCTIVE, OUR SPIRITS WILL ALSO BECOME UNPRODUCTIVE.  IF WE TRY TO RELY ON THE THINGS WE HAVE BEEN...

"GOD'S AWESOME POWER" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

God's Awesome Power

John 18:6 'As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.'

JOHN 18:5-9

It is evident that it was the power of God that made these six hundred men fall backwards to the ground, but why did it happen when He said, 'I am he'?

In this verse, and also in verse eight, the word 'he' is italicized. That means that the word 'he' was not in the original text but was added by the translators to make the sentence grammatically correct. This serves a useful purpose and is very helpful in most cases. However, the translators put these additions in italics so that we could be aware of what the text literally said.

In this instance, Jesus literally said, 'I am.' Since Jesus...

"CAN YOU CHANGE YOUR WAYS?" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

CAN YOU CHANGE YOUR WAYS?

ARE YOU DOING SOMETHING THAT YOU KNOW JESUS DOES NOT APPROVE OF?  MY ADVICE TO YOU IS TO STOP WHATEVER IT IS.  JESUS MAKES REFERENCE TO THIS IN MATTHEW 5:29-30 WHERE HE SAYS "And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell".  IT MAY SOUND LIKE HE IS GOING A LITTLE TO THE EXTREME BUT THAT IS JUST HOW IMPORTANT IT IS.

Healing Is An Expression Of God's Mercy

Luke 22:51 'And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.'

Jesus often healed people by touching them, and others received their healing as they touched Jesus. You can transmit the power or the anointing of God through the laying on of hands (Mk. 16:18; Heb. 6:2). The virtue of God can even be transmitted to objects and then brought to the person who needs healing or deliverance.

Jesus provided physical healing as well as forgiveness of sins. Many scriptures mention the healing of our bodies in conjunction with the forgiveness of our sins. Healing is an expression of God's love and compassion for our physical man. Healing miracles also draw men to God to get their spiritual...

"HEALING...IS IT FOR YOU?" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

By DAVID A. MCMILLEN, 2020-11-16

HEALING...IS IT FOR YOU?

DID YOU KNOW THAT GOD WANTS YOU HEALED?  THERE IS NOT ONE PLACE IN THE BIBLE WHERE JESUS REFUSED TO HEAL SOMEONE AND HE SAID HE ONLY DID THE WILL OF HIS FATHER.  (JOHN 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.)

SO, IF IT IS GOD'S WILL TO HEAL, THEN YOU CAN BE HEALED.  GOD DOES NOT DO FOR ONE THAT HE WOULD NOT DO FOR OTHERS.  I HAVE LISTED TWO PASSAGES SHOWING THIS.  THE FIRST IS FROM THE KING JAMES VERSION AND THE SECOND ONE IS FROM THE NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION THAT MIGHT MAKE IT A LITTLE CLEARER....

"OUR LIFE IS NOT OUR OWN" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Our Life Is Not Our Own

Luke 22:49 'When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?'

The Lordship of Jesus is one of the central themes of scripture. It is clear that many times the word 'Lord,' when referring to Jesus, is equivalent to the divine name 'Yahweh' or 'Jehovah.' To acknowledge Jesus as Lord is to acknowledge His deity (Jn. 20:28).

What it means to give Jesus Lordship in our lives, is to recognize His right to rule in our lives, by right of creation (Jn. 1:3) and right of redemption.

'For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's' (1 Cor. 6:20).

One of the most damaging attitudes of our time is the exaltation of...

"LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN STRESSED?  JUST THINK HOW STRESSED THE DISCIPLES MUST HAVE BEEN. THEY WATCHED JESUS BEING ARRESTED, BEATEN AND CRUCIFIED.  ALL OF THEIR HOPES AND DREAMS WERE ROOTED IN HIM AND THEN HE WAS DEAD AND SEEMINGLY DEFEATED.  NOW DO YOU THINK THEY WERE STRESSED?

THE CONFUSION, HURT AND PAIN FROM THAT ALONE WAS PROBABLY UNBEARABLE BUT THEN CAME THE THOUGHTS, AND THEY ALWAYS DO. "WE HAVE MADE SUCH SACRIFICES, LEAVING FAMILY AND BUSINESSES AND RISKING IT ALL ON THE BELIEF THAT JESUS WAS THE MESSIAH." "MIGHT IT ALL HAVE BEEN IN VAIN?"  " HOW LONG WILL IT BE BEFORE THEY COME AND GET US?"  YES, I THINK THEY WERE VERY STRESSED. DO YOU THINK THIS COMPARES TO YOUR...
