"NO EXCUSES" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

No Excuses

Luke 12:48 'But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.'

LUKE 12:45-48

This verse is one of the clearest references in scripture about varying degrees of God's judgment according to the knowledge of the person who committed the sin. The whole chapter of Leviticus 4 is written to deal with sins committed in ignorance. Jesus said in John 9:41, 'If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.'

Also, Romans 5:13 says, 'sin is not imputed when there is no law.'

Paul said, in 1...

ARE YOU DOING GOD'S WILL IN YOUR LIFE?

I POSTED A MESSAGE FROM MY GOOD FRIEND MICK ALEXANDER A FEW YEARS AGO AND I WAS THINKING THAT SOME OF YOU THAT ARE NEW TO READING MY MESSAGES COULD BENEFIT FROM IT.  THEREFORE, I AM POSTING IT AGAIN.  IT WAS ABOUT CONFESSING AND REPENTING. THERE ARE A LOT OF DIFFERENCES IN THE TWO. JUST READ BELOW AS HE MAKES IT SO CLEAR.

"STEWARDS OF GOD'S GRACE" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Stewards Of God's Grace

Luke 12:42 'And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his Lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?'

A steward is a person who has been entrusted with administering someone else's wealth or affairs. The possessions a steward controls are not his own and he does not have the freedom to do with them as he wishes. He is supposed to carry out the desires of the one who made him steward.

A banker is a steward. He has been entrusted with other people's money. He is free to invest that money wisely in a way that will benefit his depositors and stockholders, but would be sent to jail if he took all that money and simply consumed it upon himself. A steward is...

"YOU ARE HEALED" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

YOU ARE HEALED

HAVE YOU EVER HEARD SOMEONE SAY THAT THEY ARE HEALED, IN THE NAME OF JESUS, WHEN THEY DON'T LOOK LIKE IT?  I AM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE.  I KNOW THAT I AM HEALED, EVEN THOUGH I MIGHT NOT LOOK OR FEEL LIKE IT.  I DON'T REALLY CARE WHAT I LOOK LIKE OR WHAT ANYONE THINKS, I DON'T EVEN CARE WHAT MY BODY SAYS OR EVEN THE DOCTORS SAY, JESUS SAYS THAT I AM HEALED AND THAT IS ENOUGH FOR ME.  HE HAS NEVER LIED TO ME YET AND NEVER WILL.

WHY WOULD I TELL SOMEONE THAT I AM SICK WHEN JESUS SAYS THAT I...

"THE GOODNESS OF GOD" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

The Goodness Of God

Luke 12:5 'But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.'

LUKE 12:4-5

Second Timothy 1:7 says, 'God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.' First John 4:18 says, 'There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.' These scriptures may look like they are contradictions to Jesus' statement here; however, they are not.

There are two kinds of fear. The American Heritage Dictionary defines fear as 'a feeling of alarm or disquiet caused by the expectation of danger, pain, disaster, or the...

"HYPOCRISY IS......." BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Hypocrisy Is.....

Luke 12:1 'In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.'

LUKE 12:1-3

This is the biblical definition of a hypocrite, 'someone whose words and heart (actions) don't agree.' A hypocrite may act the part of a Christian or talk like Christ, but he or she won't do both. Hypocrisy is defined by the dictionary as, 'The feigning of beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; insincerity' (American Heritage Dictionary). In the Greek, the word is 'hupokrisis' and means 'the playing of a part on the...

"THE FAITH TO FORGIVE" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

By DAVID A. MCMILLEN, 2020-07-13

THE FAITH TO FORGIVE

I BELIEVE THE BASIS FOR FORGIVENESS IS THE LOVE AND GRACE THAT GOD HAS FOR US.  1ST JOHN 4:19 SAYS "We love him, because he first loved us."  ALSO, EPHESIANS 2:8 SAYS "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God."

IT IS ONLY BECAUSE GOD FIRST LOVED AND FORGAVE US THAT WE CAN LOVE AND FORGIVE OTHERS.  HOW CAN WE MINISTER FORGIVENESS TO OTHERS IF WE ARE NOT WALKING IN THE FORGIVENESS OF GOD?  HE FORGAVE US BEFORE WE REPENTED OR EVEN ASKED FOR FORGIVENESS.  WE ARE TO FORGIVE OTHERS THEIR TRESPASSES JUST LIKE GOD...

YOU DO HAVE GODLY POWERS

HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED THE POWER THAT WE HAVE?  IF WE ALL COULD JUST REALIZE THIS AND REALLY GET IT INTO OUR MINDS, THERE IS NOTHING WE COULD NOT DO.  I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT JUST A FEW THINGS THAT JESUS DID AND HE SAID IN JOHN 14:12 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."  DID YOU SEE THAT.....GREATER WORKS SHALL WE DO.

"JESUS, THE WISDOM OF GOD" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Jesus, The Wisdom Of God

Luke 11:49 'Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute.'

LUKE 11:46-49

This phrase 'Therefore also said the wisdom of God,' is a part of Luke's narrative and not the words of Jesus. Luke is saying that Jesus is the wisdom of God, a truth well-established in scripture.

There is no way to access the wisdom of God except through Jesus. Until a person receives Christ, he is missing the only source of true wisdom. Men and women are incapable of receiving the wisdom of God, but those who submit themselves to God have access to the wisdom of God on their own, through the Holy Spirit. We must be dependent upon the Holy Spirit...

"STAYING IN GOD'S WORD" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

STAYING IN GOD'S WORD

THERE IS SO MUCH TALK ON KEEPING OUR BODIES IN SHAPE BUT WHAT ABOUT YOUR SPIRITS?   DO YOU EXERCISE IT?   WE KNOW OUR BODIES HAVE TO BE TAKEN CARE OF IN ORDER FOR THEM TO WORK PROPERLY.  WE HAVE TO MAKE SURE WE EAT GOOD, DRINK PLENTY OF WATER, AND PROTECT OURSELVES FROM  ANYTHING THAT WILL HARM US.  AS FOR OUR SPIRIT, HOW DO WE TREAT IT?  IT NEEDS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF AS WELL AS OUR BODIES.  IT NEEDS TO BE TRAINED IN THE THINGS OF GOD. THEY NEED TO BE FED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD'S WORD AND WATERED BY HIS "LIVING WATER".

JUST AS OUR BODIES WILL...
