The Day Is Yours (Ps. 74:16-17)
E-120
David Erickson
Verse One
You created it all, the great and the small.
You looked around that day and said that it was good.
The sun was formed with your great hand.
The day is yours and we all need to understand.
Chorus
The days is yours and the night also belongs to you.
You prepared the moon at night and the sun, too.
I know the day is yours and all that is within it.
The day is yours and we are dwelling in it.
Verse Two
You have made the summer and the winter days.
The four seasons are yours in so many ways
In your great wisdom you planned the boundaries of this earth.
And you knew each one of us long before our births.
Bridge
We give it all back to you, Lord, the day is yours.
The day is yours for all eternity.
