David Erickson has been singing Christian music since he was twelve. He was born to the father and mother of four boys and one girl. David was the oldest. His dad, Wesley Erickson, and mother, Gladys, were ministers to the Native Americans in Nevada for over 30 years. The artist began leading worshsip when he was twelve years old, and continues until today. He has been the worship leader in churches in four different states including Alaska. Some of his songs were written and recorded in Alaska with only a microphone, a couple of music programs and a computer. His latest songs were recorded in a home studio in Carson City, NV. He believes he does all this to please the one who is above all, God.

Verse One
A young child is walking through the city looking for her lost mother.
Her face is covered. She is deathly sick, and she calls for no other.
Is this the end, she desperately searches for hope from someone's kind hand?
Is this the end? Her life, her strength is gone, and she cannot stand.
Verse Two
An elderly man looks out his window watching chaos all around.
He is alone. It seems no one cares, and he doesn't utter a sound.
Is this the end, the thought in his mind? Is there hope for tomorrow?
Is this the end? His life, his survival is wrapped up in his sorrow.

Is this the end? The world around us is full of disappointments and pain.
Is this the end? Is there hope for the future that seems so full of earthly gain?
Is this the end? It may be soon, there is hope for us in this evil age.
The end of time is in God's hands and for us there is another page.

Is this the end? It could be but God is in control of all of this.
Is this the end? The signs of the times surrounds us and God won't miss.
This may not be the end of time but draw near to Him before it's too late.
Is this the end? I don't know but I am focused on the pearly gates.
