I Know I Can't Do It (On My Own)
For many years I was a loner. I wanted to do everything on my own.
I would slip and fall because I did something unwise, then I would moan.
Situations became worse then I pulled myself up but I still complained.
But now I realize that I can't do it by myself without much pain.
I know I can't do it on my own. I know I need God's tender hand.
To pick me up from the dust and grime and help me to stand.
Hallelujah, it's a brand-new day, walking freely and listening to Him.
I know I can't do it on my own and I am listening to Him.
If you realize that you are lost and you don't know where to turn.
And you understand you can't do it alone, you can learn.
Through Christ who is your strength. He's the one who will do it.
Open your heart. Lay it down and He will send you to his holy spirit.
I know I can't do it on my own, not on my own.
If you know you can't do it alone then turn to him.
