David Erickson has been singing Christian music since he was twelve. He was born to the father and mother of four boys and one girl. David was the oldest. His dad, Wesley Erickson, and mother, Gladys, were ministers to the Native Americans in Nevada for over 30 years. The artist began leading worshsip when he was twelve years old, and continues until today. He has been the worship leader in churches in four different states including Alaska. Some of his songs were written and recorded in Alaska with only a microphone, a couple of music programs and a computer. His latest songs were recorded in a home studio in Carson City, NV. He believes he does all this to please the one who is above all, God.

Verse One
I sit here in God's presence and a thousand feelings spin through my heart.
At times it is hard not to be overwhelmed by the bad feelings that pull us apart.
But my mind searches through many that bring encouragement and smiles.
We are told, don't live by our feelings but many have carried me through the miles.

Feelings, feelings good or bad, they are there to carry you away at times.
Feelings, yes, those disappointments that come, more than sometimes.
My God knows what I need and he knows what I can take.
My feelings are one way he will carry me through all my mistakes.

Daily my mind brings thoughts to the forefront, feelings from the past.
Some of these pictures are painful but feelings don't really last.
With God as my father, the bad times fade away in his love.
Feelings, feelings good or bad are part of his eternal plan from above.
