Sometimes (I Cry)
David Erickson
D-105
Verse One
Sometimes I am so discouraged, and I can't find my way.
Sometimes I call out in fear and I am in such dismay.
But, Lord, I know that you are always there so why do I despair.
Sometimes I don't feel your presence, but you are always there.
Chorus One
Sometimes I cry and sometimes I listen to you.
Sometimes you speak and I don't even hear you.
Sometimes I walk my own way and I go astray.
Sometimes I cry but I know, Lord, you are here today.
Verse Two
Sometimes my life plays tricks on me, mostly in my mind.
Sometimes I stumble and fall but you are always so kind.
You pick me up and hold me tight in the middle of the night.
Sometimes I feel all alone but I am never out of your sight.
Chorus Two
You know me, my wonderful Lord, and sometimes I cry.
Many hours I'm in distress and sometimes I sigh.
But you, my savior are always, yes, always there for me.
Sometimes I cry but now I can see.
Bridge
Jesus, Jesus, you are always, yes always there.
Sometimes I cry, but you hear my heart's prayer.
Jesus, Jesus, you are always there, yes, always there.
And sometimes I cry, but you hear my heart's prayer.
Bridge 2
Jesus, Jesus, you are always there, you’re always there.
Sometimes I cry, but you hear my heart's prayer.
Sometimes I cry but now I can see.
