Back in the late summer 2019, I was in the process of writing my song, “Danger.” At that time I was a lovesick, heartbroken teen who’d dealt with a big jerk and wanted to express her pent up the emotion in her music.
I looked back one day, thinking of “Danger” and the lyrics, “You can turn my pain to good” popped in my head. I was currently at my Church and I’d just been in a train of arm-linked, God-loving teenagers like myself, singing with joy. All of us had broken wings one way or the other, but the Lord’s Love held us up. His Love was stitching our wings. Readying us to fly.
That was the day that “Eagles” was written.
