Garry Moore has a long musical history. A singer, songwriter, musician, and producer. He wrote his first song at age 12 and now has a catalog of over 700 songs. He began his musical journey at age 9 when his grandmother formed a gospel quintet of 3 cousins, a friend, and himself. Influenced by the Beatles, he picked up the guitar at age 9. His father also played which inspired him as well. He sharpened his guitar skills listening to Carlos Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Al Mckay, and other guitar greats. His influences as a teenager were Andrae Crouch, The Mighty Clouds Of Joy, Rance Allen, Edwin Hawkins, Earth Wind & Fire, and The Commodores. At age 19 he formed the group "Garry Moore & New Joy" they recorded their first (45) single a year later in 1980 on the H.S.E. record label in Nashville Tennessee. In 1982 the group changed their name to Fire Power and released their first Album in 1984. They opened up for renowned Grammy award winning groups, The Mighty Clouds Of Joy and The Williams Brothers. In the early 90's Fire Power disbanded while recording their 2nd studio album. He released that unfinished album in 2011 titled 'Unfinished Business' In 1997 he recorded his first solo album titled 'You're Never Alone' and 9 more albums since. His 2018 album 'Eternal' debuted at number #14 on Billboard's Top Selling Gospel Albums Chart. His 2020 (10th) studio album 'The Power' debuted at #6 on The Billboard Top Selling Gospel Albums Chart. He is also the Pastor of E.O.C.C. "Evangelistic Outreach Christian Center" since 1997.
