It’s so comforting to know that where ever I may go
In my path Your glorious light will always shine.

There are times when it would seem to me so easy
To just wander off where others would not dare,
But when I am fully lost - when I’ve counted all the cost
I just turn and find that hand was always there!

In the middle of life’s tempest and the fury
When I cannot feel the love for dread and fear,
Though around is shifting sand if You’re holding to my hand
I know we’ll make it - just as long as You are near .
