About

Born in 1969 Norvell A. Molex Jr. has always loved music this would prove to be his calling later in life. Growing up music was all around being a child of the 70’s and 80’s when music was thriving all around. Being an only child didn’t spoil him but it did teach him how to be independent and take a few chances. With both parents being music lovers his father played saxophone and a jazz lover his mother sang and loved all form of music. This allowed Norvell to be raised in an eclectic atmosphere fortified by Godly principles when his father started to peruse a degree in photograph no one knew this would be the spark that would start Norvell down the path to a carrier in Mass Communications. With a carrier in communications spanning 17 years Norvell has gained experience that is unmatched working for WGPR-TV 62 as a Master Control Operator then moving to Barden Cable as a Traffic Assistant / Production Assistant which then became Comcast Cable from there Norvell was blessed to work at Don Coleman Advertising as a Traffic Coordinator then promoted to Production Assistant after a being caught up in a massive downsizing he later went on to work part time at WDWO Tri Christian Television then found full time employment at Meridian Advertising after about a year being down sized again he then went back to school and later received his Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications from Rochester College a Church of God and Christ School. Currently attending Specs Howard School of Broadcast Art’s for Graphic Design. Blessed with a degree & creativity God further blessed him with the vision of spreading God’s word through jazz. This lead him to create the Gospel Jazz Podcast the Lord also allowed Norvell to create “The Jazz Suite” now to further the presence of the Lord on this new media called the internet.

Welcome to the network. Gospel jazz is an area we are weak in, so I am doubly glad to have you aboard. You might like to check out Sally Ray . She is a member from my hometown, who leans toward jazz from time to time, and writes original songs. I can get a message to her but she has no computer right now. Blessings, Ken
