Great Hope Children center is a non-profitable organization based in Kenya helping to better the lives of the needy children around the slums of Nairobi.We were Founded 3 years ago in the Slums of Soweto, Nairobi, Kenya by Pastor Evans Olouch and His Wife Dorine.The center has an office consisting of a management committee which includes: Chairman,Director, Secretary, Assistant Secretary.We have 130 needy children at the center who need our support and we still have many more who still need help but we take one by one to be able to do a good work .Education is free no fees but there still unequal access to education. Under Kenya law, school uniforms,Lunch fee,books,tution fee are mandatory for students in every school, but buying uniforms represents a great hardship for many families. Without the required uniform, poor, predominately children can not attend .We still have many children of age 3 years to 15 years who have never gone to school they are left along the street of the slums when others have gone to school. As i walk along the street i see young boys and girls walking along the street both day and night .Did you know that 300 million African people live on less than $1per day .
