Upon the dark and dreary storms of unbelief, comes the everlasting call of our Heavenly Father, from Heaven's reef; Likened to the deep and blasting call, from the horn within the lighthouse upon the banks of a far and distant shore; You hear the call, you see the light, shining out through the dark, thick fog of night; guiding your ship safely, gently home.As the lighthouse keeper never strays from the window of the porthouse at bay; ever looking out with eyes as keen as an eagle, so that no man is lost at sea; So does our Heavenly Father's eyes ever roam this earth, searching for lost and wandering souls like you and me; souls that have lost their direction through doubt and fear while tossed on lifes troubled seas.We must not look at the billowing waves as around our ship they roll, not let the cold, gusty, blowing winds freeze our souls; we must look through the storms and havoc that is all around our bow, towards the windows of heaven and that great light that shines from God's holy hill.O' Lighthouse of my SoulI see your light, I hear your callAs upon the sea of fear and doubt I roamPrecious Jesus, lead me safely home.Written by: Carolyn Williams(c) 1982
