The New Indie Gospel Artists Top 20 is posted ...  The New #1 Song of the month. For The month of Sept 2014 it is

"Mighty Rain" by Andrew Kwon.   So Congratulations to you Andrew!  You all stop by Andrew's page and say howdy howdy. This song is terrific!

*******************************

Ken and I decided because of all the new stuff that is beginning to be built into IGA that we would pass on

doing the Top 20 Show this monthh (Sat at 3-4:30) .. Hopefully all will be up and running smoothly by next months  Show time.

Also, I started something new this week

*************************...

Special Song of the Week

EACH WEEK  I am going to reach back into the archive and pull out a song that was #1 a while ago, that had a message of encouragement, learning, stepping out in Faith.. so Here is the first offering.. "Growing".. it is a song that was done by

Barry Winslow. It is about learning the Ways of the Lord ... Check it out it is at #21 ...

**********************************

Some of the songs in this month's Top 20 that are very very good.

1.  "Mighty Rain" is really very good.. Andrew's presentation of this song is just perfect...

2.  "We will Walk Together" Shauni Williams ... what a fresh voice ... The Arrangement is awesome, the bass, the piano especially, Her use of the canon's is just beautiful. The acoustic gut string guitar solo is perfect.. not too much but right there!

3.  Not Been Forsaken"  by  Claudette Schittler ... Claudette's has a strong unique voice.  The Big Sound behind her is there although I believe the piano could have used a bit more arranging as ait overlaps some of the rest of the instruments but all in all, this is a very nice, strong, song espcially Claudette's voice.  Check it out.

Of course the rest of the Top 20 is very good as well, like Holy Ghost Party, Million Praises, "No Fear In Faith", Mercy Mercy, Calling God, and Desperate ... AS usual this months Top 20 is again very good,.

May you all have a wonderful month in the Lord and watch for the Special Song of the Week ... Til then

Praise Him,   JB

I do apologise for missing scheduled live shows lately. The demands of getting the new network configured are keeping me " nose to the grindstone ". However, it will be well worth it in the long run. Our community will be empowered with all the tools it needs to move forward, with everything under "one roof" and "future proof".

Here is a "sneak peak" behind the splashpage at  indiegospel.net  Notice how the content adapts to different screen sizes, such that we are now mobile ready. I've shrunk our radio player to fit the smallest of phones now, 240 wide, and it ends up on top when someone visits with a cell. Cool beans for those who want airplay.

We've built a migration tool to move the files from the Ning JSON archives, into the new script. Successful tests have been carried out on several categories like members, comments, pages, videos, photos, etc., and the remaining categories will be set-up and tested soon.

Got to get a SSL certificate installed for the Facebook players and shopping cart. A few more API keys need to be set-up, and so on, but it's definitely shaping up fast. No definitive ETA... but coming soon...

Be Blessed,

Ken
