Prayer requests on giftings serving versus teaching and my calling with the Lord.
I have enjoyed serving- be it at a soup kitchen, washing dishes, carrying things and more for people, but
now I am questioning whether I am trully anointed to do things or I am serving more from my own
personal strength. I also wonder if teaching is more the motiovational gifting where I am anointed, likely
coupled with persuasion. I do confess that I make mistakes and don't do things as well as I could do
while serving (missing dirt, spots on dishes, those errors make me wonder if I am doing this more on my
own strength than not). I also wonder whether I am anointed with teaching as when I have taught the few
times in person and have posted notes on facebook I have almost always been pleasantly surprised by the
positive response and the lack of negative/correcting response. Those two factors make me wonder if
teaching/persuasion is something that I might be strongly gifted and and, as such, this must be used for
the glory of God. I ask for prayer and feedback from people on this.
I have also had a prophecy spoken over me in 2011 concerning my teaching, but never over my desire to
serve, and maybe later that year it may have even been confirmed, and one in Africa seems to confirm
that even more, so because of that I seek your feedback, too as well as prayer
If so I pray and request prayer on:
That God would help me with provision and openings to go overseas to teach and lead people to Christ,
dealing with the foul spirit of confusion, too, which could cause me to miss connecting flights- an
attempt from the pit of hell to stop my calling.
That God would use this gift so that many, many would find the saving knowledge of Jesus
That God would use these teachings to strengthen and build peoples' relationships with God.
That God could continue to position me wherever He wishes for what I believe could be a coming global
revival/awakening (though He may well rapture His church first). Revival or rapture is up to Him, and
Him only, if rapture then I do what He wants before that comes and am found ready by His mercy to go.
Personally in many ways I hope the rapture isn't too soon for I feel grieved for the unreached peoples of
the world who never have had a chance to hear the gospel, in areas like India, Pakistan, Nepal, and many
other nations in Asia and Africa. I pray that they DO get to hear it powerfully before the rapture
happens, and am more than willing to do my part. I also pray that people, including pastors in nations
such as Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, and many others especially in Africa(also in Asia,
too) are sated with all of the teaching and knowledge of the word of God their heart could desire before
the rapture happens. I feel in my spirit their great hunger and want to serve them in that desire, too. It is
all up to God. I believe these Africans once taught will lead many in nations like Somalia and the other
Muslim world to Christ, making this effort worthwhile.
