Book of Proverbs bible study Chapters 12 through 21
Book of Proverbs bible study chapters 12 through 21
Here are the next ten chapters of the book of proverbs. As with chapters 10 and 11 which are in the first bible study of Proverbs, the proverbs in this bible study largely are life application related proverbs, also some warnings against evil, and almost all of the proverbs in these 10 chapters are individual ones at that, and not really in groups of them although there are a few such groups, however nothing in groups like the first nine chapters are in groups. I am largely going to dispense with descriptions other than naming the chapter. Here is a link to the bible study of the first 11 chapters of the book of Proverbs

God gave Solomon at Solomon’s prayer for wisdom to guide his kingdom that he had inherited from David, and Solomon then wrote all of these wonderful proverbs by the guidance of the Holy Spirit which have easily survived the test of time to be a guide to live our daily lives today according to their wisdom and heeding the warnings they provide against evil. The proverbs all show off Solomon’s remarkable God given wisdom, a powerful wisdom which can only come from God, and God only. These proverbs also show God’s love for mankind too, and later on God would send His Son Jesus to die for us, paying the price for our sins, and Jesus willingly and lovingly did this, knowing that once this was done then the way would then be open to have relationship with Jesus and God the Father, something both want. There is absolutely nothing that can compare with a relationship with God because it is so special. I am now including a prayer which will invite Jesus into your heart to begin this relationship, or even to return to this relationship if you have drifted away for any reason. Please pray this following prayer with me
Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess Jesus as our Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we will be saved. Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself. Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.
Amen.
God bless you and yours
