                                                Fall of Babylon bible study

I am led to do as a compliment to a couple of other stories one with prophecies of the fall of Babylon. Although many in the Old Testament were more targeted at the old Babylonian empire which was overrun by the Medes and the Persians, I also believe those prophecies back up the ones in the book of Revelation concerning the daughter of Babylon. This fall of the daughter of Babylon also has much to do with this command given to Jesus I heard "Prophesy - the dark Jesus" which is indeed the Antichrist. The Holy Spirit has led me to nine chapters of the bible which I am presenting here.

The first of these is Isaiah 14 which also is a prophecy in ways of Satan himself being booted out of Heaven with his rebellious angels

(Isaiah 14:1)  For the LORD will have compassion on Jacob and will again choose Israel, and will set them in their own land, and sojourners will join them and will attach themselves to the house of Jacob.

(Isaiah 14:2)  And the peoples will take them and bring them to their place, and the house of Israel will possess them in the LORD's land as male and female slaves. They will take captive those who were their captors, and rule over those who oppressed them.

(Isaiah 14:3)  When the LORD has given you rest from your pain and turmoil and the hard service with which you were made to serve,

(Isaiah 14:4)  you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: "How the oppressor has ceased, the insolent fury ceased!

(Isaiah 14:5)  The LORD has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of rulers,

(Isaiah 14:6)  that struck the peoples in wrath with unceasing blows, that ruled the nations in anger with unrelenting persecution.

(Isaiah 14:7)  The whole earth is at rest and quiet; they break forth into singing.

(Isaiah 14:8)  The cypresses rejoice at you, the cedars of Lebanon, saying, 'Since you were laid low, no woodcutter comes up against us.'

(Isaiah 14:9)  Sheol beneath is stirred up to meet you when you come; it rouses the shades to greet you, all who were leaders of the earth; it raises from their thrones all who were kings of the nations.

(Isaiah 14:10)  All of them will answer and say to you: 'You too have become as weak as we! You have become like us!'

(Isaiah 14:11)  Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, the sound of your harps; maggots are laid as a bed beneath you, and worms are your covers.

(Isaiah 14:12)  "How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low!

(Isaiah 14:13)  You said in your heart, 'I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north;

(Isaiah 14:14)  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.'

(Isaiah 14:15)  But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit.

(Isaiah 14:16)  Those who see you will stare at you and ponder over you: 'Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms,

(Isaiah 14:17)  who made the world like a desert and overthrew its cities, who did not let his prisoners go home?'

(Isaiah 14:18)  All the kings of the nations lie in glory, each in his own tomb;

(Isaiah 14:19)  but you are cast out, away from your grave, like a loathed branch, clothed with the slain, those pierced by the sword, who go down to the stones of the pit, like a dead body trampled underfoot.

(Isaiah 14:20)  You will not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land, you have slain your people. "May the offspring of evildoers nevermore be named!

(Isaiah 14:21)  Prepare slaughter for his sons because of the guilt of their fathers, lest they rise and possess the earth, and fill the face of the world with cities."

(Isaiah 14:22)  "I will rise up against them," declares the LORD of hosts, "and will cut off from Babylon name and remnant, descendants and posterity," declares the LORD.

(Isaiah 14:23)  "And I will make it a possession of the hedgehog, and pools of water, and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction," declares the LORD of hosts.

(Isaiah 14:24)  The LORD of hosts has sworn: "As I have planned, so shall it be, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand,

(Isaiah 14:25)  that I will break the Assyrian in my land, and on my mountains trample him underfoot; and his yoke shall depart from them, and his burden from their shoulder."

(Isaiah 14:26)  This is the purpose that is purposed concerning the whole earth, and this is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations.

(Isaiah 14:27)  For the LORD of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?

(Isaiah 14:28)  In the year that King Ahaz died came this oracle:

(Isaiah 14:29)  Rejoice not, O Philistia, all of you, that the rod that struck you is broken, for from the serpent's root will come forth an adder, and its fruit will be a flying fiery serpent.

(Isaiah 14:30)  And the firstborn of the poor will graze, and the needy lie down in safety; but I will kill your root with famine, and your remnant it will slay.

(Isaiah 14:31)  Wail, O gate; cry out, O city; melt in fear, O Philistia, all of you! For smoke comes out of the north, and there is no straggler in his ranks.

(Isa 14:32)  What will one answer the messengers of the nation? "The LORD has founded Zion, and in her the afflicted of his people find refuge."

Next is Isaiah chapter 47 which even addresses the daughter of Babylon, which in many ways is the current one:

(Isaiah 47:1)  Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For you shall no more be called tender and delicate.

(Isaiah 47:2)  Take the millstones and grind flour, put off your veil, strip off your robe, uncover your legs, pass through the rivers.

(Isaiah 47:3)  Your nakedness shall be uncovered, and your disgrace shall be seen. I will take vengeance, and I will spare no one.

(Isaiah 47:4)  Our Redeemer--the LORD of hosts is his name-- is the Holy One of Israel.

(Isaiah 47:5)  Sit in silence, and go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans; for you shall no more be called the mistress of kingdoms.

(Isaiah 47:6)  I was angry with my people; I profaned my heritage; I gave them into your hand; you showed them no mercy; on the aged you made your yoke exceedingly heavy.

(Isaiah 47:7)  You said, "I shall be mistress forever," so that you did not lay these things to heart or remember their end.

(Isaiah 47:8)  Now therefore hear this, you lover of pleasures, who sit securely, who say in your heart, "I am, and there is no one besides me; I shall not sit as a widow or know the loss of children":

(Isaiah 47:9)  These two things shall come to you in a moment, in one day; the loss of children and widowhood shall come upon you in full measure, in spite of your many sorceries and the great power of your enchantments.

(Isaiah 47:10)  You felt secure in your wickedness, you said, "No one sees me"; your wisdom and your knowledge led you astray, and you said in your heart, "I am, and there is no one besides me."

(Isaiah 47:11)  But evil shall come upon you, which you will not know how to charm away; disaster shall fall upon you, for which you will not be able to atone; and ruin shall come upon you suddenly, of which you know nothing.

(Isaiah 47:12)  Stand fast in your enchantments and your many sorceries, with which you have labored from your youth; perhaps you may be able to succeed; perhaps you may inspire terror.

(Isaiah 47:13)  You are wearied with your many counsels; let them stand forth and save you, those who divide the heavens, who gaze at the stars, who at the new moons make known what shall come upon you.

(Isaiah 47:14)  Behold, they are like stubble; the fire consumes them; they cannot deliver themselves from the power of the flame. No coal for warming oneself is this, no fire to sit before!

(Isaiah 47:15)  Such to you are those with whom you have labored, who have done business with you from your youth; they wander about, each in his own direction; there is no one to save you.

The next chapter, toward the end command Israel to go out, and nowadays this too is relevant to the current end times and Babylon’s fall:

(Isaiah 48:1)  Hear this, O house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel, and who came from the waters of Judah, who swear by the name of the LORD and confess the God of Israel, but not in truth or right.

(Isaiah 48:2)  For they call themselves after the holy city, and stay themselves on the God of Israel; the LORD of hosts is his name.

(Isaiah 48:3)  "The former things I declared of old; they went out from my mouth, and I announced them; then suddenly I did them, and they came to pass.

(Isaiah 48:4)  Because I know that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew and your forehead brass,

(Isaiah 48:5)  I declared them to you from of old, before they came to pass I announced them to you, lest you should say, 'My idol did them, my carved image and my metal image commanded them.'

(Isaiah 48:6)  "You have heard; now see all this; and will you not declare it? From this time forth I announce to you new things, hidden things that you have not known.

(Isaiah 48:7)  They are created now, not long ago; before today you have never heard of them, lest you should say, 'Behold, I knew them.'

(Isaiah 48:8)  You have never heard, you have never known, from of old your ear has not been opened. For I knew that you would surely deal treacherously, and that from before birth you were called a rebel.

(Isaiah 48:9)  "For my name's sake I defer my anger, for the sake of my praise I restrain it for you, that I may not cut you off.

(Isaiah 48:10)  Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tried you in the furnace of affliction.

(Isaiah 48:11)  For my own sake, for my own sake, I do it, for how should my name be profaned? My glory I will not give to another.

(Isaiah 48:12)  "Listen to me, O Jacob, and Israel, whom I called! I am he; I am the first, and I am the last.

(Isaiah 48:13)  My hand laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens; when I call to them, they stand forth together.

(Isaiah 48:14)  "Assemble, all of you, and listen! Who among them has declared these things? The LORD loves him; he shall perform his purpose on Babylon, and his arm shall be against the Chaldeans.

(Isaiah 48:15)  I, even I, have spoken and called him; I have brought him, and he will prosper in his way.

(Isaiah 48:16)  Draw near to me, hear this: from the beginning I have not spoken in secret, from the time it came to be I have been there." And now the Lord GOD has sent me, and his Spirit.

(Isaiah 48:17)  Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go.

(Isaiah 48:18)  Oh that you had paid attention to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea;

(Isaiah 48:19)  your offspring would have been like the sand, and your descendants like its grains; their name would never be cut off or destroyed from before me."

(Isaiah 48:20)  Go out from Babylon, flee from Chaldea, declare this with a shout of joy, proclaim it, send it out to the end of the earth; say, "The LORD has redeemed his servant Jacob!"

(Isaiah 48:21)  They did not thirst when he led them through the deserts; he made water flow for them from the rock; he split the rock and the water gushed out.

(Isaiah 48:22)  "There is no peace," says the LORD, "for the wicked."

Jeremiah chapters 50 and 51 in particular concern prophecies of the fall of the old Babylonian empire but I believe many of these will also occur when the daughter of Babylon falls also. I present these two chapters without any comments in between them at all, so they can have their maximum impact on the reader.

(Jeremiah 50:1)  The word that the LORD spoke concerning Babylon, concerning the land of the Chaldeans, by Jeremiah the prophet:

(Jeremiah 50:2)  "Declare among the nations and proclaim, set up a banner and proclaim, conceal it not, and say: 'Babylon is taken, Bel is put to shame, Merodach is dismayed. Her images are put to shame, her idols are dismayed.'

(Jeremiah 50:3)  "For out of the north a nation has come up against her, which shall make her land a desolation, and none shall dwell in it; both man and beast shall flee away.

(Jeremiah 50:4)  "In those days and in that time, declares the LORD, the people of Israel and the people of Judah shall come together, weeping as they come, and they shall seek the LORD their God.

(Jeremiah 50:5)  They shall ask the way to Zion, with faces turned toward it, saying, 'Come, let us join ourselves to the LORD in an everlasting covenant that will never be forgotten.'

(Jeremiah 50:6)  "My people have been lost sheep. Their shepherds have led them astray, turning them away on the mountains. From mountain to hill they have gone. They have forgotten their fold.

(Jeremiah 50:7)  All who found them have devoured them, and their enemies have said, 'We are not guilty, for they have sinned against the LORD, their habitation of righteousness, the LORD, the hope of their fathers.'

(Jeremiah 50:8)  "Flee from the midst of Babylon, and go out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as male goats before the flock.

(Jeremiah 50:9)  For behold, I am stirring up and bringing against Babylon a gathering of great nations, from the north country. And they shall array themselves against her. From there she shall be taken. Their arrows are like a skilled warrior who does not return empty-handed.

(Jeremiah 50:10)  Chaldea shall be plundered; all who plunder her shall be sated, declares the LORD.

(Jeremiah 50:11)  "Though you rejoice, though you exult, O plunderers of my heritage, though you frolic like a heifer in the pasture, and neigh like stallions,

(Jeremiah 50:12)  your mother shall be utterly shamed, and she who bore you shall be disgraced. Behold, she shall be the last of the nations, a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.

(Jeremiah 50:13)  Because of the wrath of the LORD she shall not be inhabited but shall be an utter desolation; everyone who passes by Babylon shall be appalled, and hiss because of all her wounds.

(Jeremiah 50:14)  Set yourselves in array against Babylon all around, all you who bend the bow; shoot at her, spare no arrows, for she has sinned against the LORD.

(Jeremiah 50:15)  Raise a shout against her all around; she has surrendered; her bulwarks have fallen; her walls are thrown down. For this is the vengeance of the LORD: take vengeance on her; do to her as she has done.

(Jeremiah 50:16)  Cut off from Babylon the sower, and the one who handles the sickle in time of harvest; because of the sword of the oppressor, every one shall turn to his own people, and every one shall flee to his own land.

(Jeremiah 50:17)  "Israel is a hunted sheep driven away by lions. First the king of Assyria devoured him, and now at last Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has gnawed his bones.

(Jeremiah 50:18)  Therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I am bringing punishment on the king of Babylon and his land, as I punished the king of Assyria.

(Jeremiah 50:19)  I will restore Israel to his pasture, and he shall feed on Carmel and in Bashan, and his desire shall be satisfied on the hills of Ephraim and in Gilead.

(Jeremiah 50:20)  In those days and in that time, declares the LORD, iniquity shall be sought in Israel, and there shall be none, and sin in Judah, and none shall be found, for I will pardon those whom I leave as a remnant.

(Jeremiah 50:21)  "Go up against the land of Merathaim, and against the inhabitants of Pekod. Kill, and devote them to destruction, declares the LORD, and do all that I have commanded you.

(Jeremiah 50:22)  The noise of battle is in the land, and great destruction!

(Jeremiah 50:23)  How the hammer of the whole earth is cut down and broken! How Babylon has become a horror among the nations!

(Jeremiah 50:24)  I set a snare for you and you were taken, O Babylon, and you did not know it; you were found and caught, because you opposed the LORD.

(Jeremiah 50:25)  The LORD has opened his armory and brought out the weapons of his wrath, for the Lord GOD of hosts has a work to do in the land of the Chaldeans.

(Jeremiah 50:26)  Come against her from every quarter; open her granaries; pile her up like heaps of grain, and devote her to destruction; let nothing be left of her.

(Jeremiah 50:27)  Kill all her bulls; let them go down to the slaughter. Woe to them, for their day has come, the time of their punishment.

(Jeremiah 50:28)  "A voice! They flee and escape from the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, vengeance for his temple.

(Jeremiah 50:29)  "Summon archers against Babylon, all those who bend the bow. Encamp around her; let no one escape. Repay her according to her deeds; do to her according to all that she has done. For she has proudly defied the LORD, the Holy One of Israel.

(Jeremiah 50:30)  Therefore her young men shall fall in her squares, and all her soldiers shall be destroyed on that day, declares the LORD.

(Jeremiah 50:31)  "Behold, I am against you, O proud one, declares the Lord GOD of hosts, for your day has come, the time when I will punish you.

(Jeremiah 50:32)  The proud one shall stumble and fall, with none to raise him up, and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it will devour all that is around him.

(Jeremiah 50:33)  "Thus says the LORD of hosts: The people of Israel are oppressed, and the people of Judah with them. All who took them captive have held them fast; they refuse to let them go.

(Jeremiah 50:34)  Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name. He will surely plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, but unrest to the inhabitants of Babylon.

(Jeremiah 50:35)  "A sword against the Chaldeans, declares the LORD, and against the inhabitants of Babylon, and against her officials and her wise men!

(Jeremiah 50:36)  A sword against the diviners, that they may become fools! A sword against her warriors, that they may be destroyed!

(Jeremiah 50:37)  A sword against her horses and against her chariots, and against all the foreign troops in her midst, that they may become women! A sword against all her treasures, that they may be plundered!

(Jeremiah 50:38)  A drought against her waters, that they may be dried up! For it is a land of images, and they are mad over idols.

(Jeremiah 50:39)  "Therefore wild beasts shall dwell with hyenas in Babylon, and ostriches shall dwell in her. She shall never again have people, nor be inhabited for all generations.

(Jeremiah 50:40)  As when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring cities, declares the LORD, so no man shall dwell there, and no son of man shall sojourn in her.

(Jeremiah 50:41)  "Behold, a people comes from the north; a mighty nation and many kings are stirring from the farthest parts of the earth.

(Jeremiah 50:42)  They lay hold of bow and spear; they are cruel and have no mercy. The sound of them is like the roaring of the sea; they ride on horses, arrayed as a man for battle against you, O daughter of Babylon!

(Jeremiah 50:43)  "The king of Babylon heard the report of them, and his hands fell helpless; anguish seized him, pain as of a woman in labor.

(Jeremiah 50:44)  "Behold, like a lion coming up from the thicket of the Jordan against a perennial pasture, I will suddenly make them run away from her, and I will appoint over her whomever I choose. For who is like me? Who will summon me? What shepherd can stand before me?

(Jeremiah 50:45)  Therefore hear the plan that the LORD has made against Babylon, and the purposes that he has formed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the little ones of their flock shall be dragged away; surely their fold shall be appalled at their fate.

(Jeremiah 50:46)  At the sound of the capture of Babylon the earth shall tremble, and her cry shall be heard among the nations."

(Jeremiah 51:1)  Thus says the LORD: "Behold, I will stir up the spirit of a destroyer against Babylon, against the inhabitants of Leb-kamai,

(Jeremiah 51:2)  and I will send to Babylon winnowers, and they shall winnow her, and they shall empty her land, when they come against her from every side on the day of trouble.

(Jeremiah 51:3)  Let not the archer bend his bow, and let him not stand up in his armor. Spare not her young men; devote to destruction all her army.

(Jeremiah 51:4)  They shall fall down slain in the land of the Chaldeans, and wounded in her streets.

(Jeremiah 51:5)  For Israel and Judah have not been forsaken by their God, the LORD of hosts, but the land of the Chaldeans is full of guilt against the Holy One of Israel.

(Jeremiah 51:6)  "Flee from the midst of Babylon; let every one save his life! Be not cut off in her punishment, for this is the time of the LORD's vengeance, the repayment he is rendering her.

(Jeremiah 51:7)  Babylon was a golden cup in the LORD's hand, making all the earth drunken; the nations drank of her wine; therefore the nations went mad.

(Jeremiah 51:8)  Suddenly Babylon has fallen and been broken; wail for her! Take balm for her pain; perhaps she may be healed.

(Jeremiah 51:9)  We would have healed Babylon, but she was not healed. Forsake her, and let us go each to his own country, for her judgment has reached up to heaven and has been lifted up even to the skies.

(Jeremiah 51:10)  The LORD has brought about our vindication; come, let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.

(Jeremiah 51:11)  "Sharpen the arrows! Take up the shields! The LORD has stirred up the spirit of the kings of the Medes, because his purpose concerning Babylon is to destroy it, for that is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance for his temple.

(Jeremiah 51:12)  "Set up a standard against the walls of Babylon; make the watch strong; set up watchmen; prepare the ambushes; for the LORD has both planned and done what he spoke concerning the inhabitants of Babylon.

(Jeremiah 51:13)  O you who dwell by many waters, rich in treasures, your end has come; the thread of your life is cut.

(Jeremiah 51:14)  The LORD of hosts has sworn by himself: Surely I will fill you with men, as many as locusts, and they shall raise the shout of victory over you.

(Jeremiah 51:15)  "It is he who made the earth by his power, who established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding stretched out the heavens.

(Jeremiah 51:16)  When he utters his voice there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he makes the mist rise from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain, and he brings forth the wind from his storehouses.

(Jeremiah 51:17)  Every man is stupid and without knowledge; every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols, for his images are false, and there is no breath in them.

(Jeremiah 51:18)  They are worthless, a work of delusion; at the time of their punishment they shall perish.

(Jeremiah 51:19)  Not like these is he who is the portion of Jacob, for he is the one who formed all things, and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance; the LORD of hosts is his name.

(Jeremiah 51:20)  "You are my hammer and weapon of war: with you I break nations in pieces; with you I destroy kingdoms;

(Jeremiah 51:21)  with you I break in pieces the horse and his rider; with you I break in pieces the chariot and the charioteer;

(Jeremiah 51:22)  with you I break in pieces man and woman; with you I break in pieces the old man and the youth; with you I break in pieces the young man and the young woman;

(Jeremiah 51:23)  with you I break in pieces the shepherd and his flock; with you I break in pieces the farmer and his team; with you I break in pieces governors and commanders.

(Jeremiah 51:24)  "I will repay Babylon and all the inhabitants of Chaldea before your very eyes for all the evil that they have done in Zion, declares the LORD.

(Jeremiah 51:25)  "Behold, I am against you, O destroying mountain, declares the LORD, which destroys the whole earth; I will stretch out my hand against you, and roll you down from the crags, and make you a burnt mountain.

(Jeremiah 51:26)  No stone shall be taken from you for a corner and no stone for a foundation, but you shall be a perpetual waste, declares the LORD.

(Jeremiah 51:27)  "Set up a standard on the earth; blow the trumpet among the nations; prepare the nations for war against her; summon against her the kingdoms, Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz; appoint a marshal against her; bring up horses like bristling locusts.

(Jeremiah 51:28)  Prepare the nations for war against her, the kings of the Medes, with their governors and deputies, and every land under their dominion.

(Jeremiah 51:29)  The land trembles and writhes in pain, for the LORD's purposes against Babylon stand, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without inhabitant.

(Jeremiah 51:30)  The warriors of Babylon have ceased fighting; they remain in their strongholds; their strength has failed; they have become women; her dwellings are on fire; her bars are broken.

(Jeremiah 51:31)  One runner runs to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to tell the king of Babylon that his city is taken on every side;

(Jeremiah 51:32)  the fords have been seized, the marshes are burned with fire, and the soldiers are in panic.

(Jeremiah 51:33)  For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time when it is trodden; yet a little while and the time of her harvest will come."

(Jeremiah 51:34)  "Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon has devoured me; he has crushed me; he has made me an empty vessel; he has swallowed me like a monster; he has filled his stomach with my delicacies; he has rinsed me out.

(Jeremiah 51:35)  The violence done to me and to my kinsmen be upon Babylon," let the inhabitant of Zion say. "My blood be upon the inhabitants of Chaldea," let Jerusalem say.

(Jeremiah 51:36)  Therefore thus says the LORD: "Behold, I will plead your cause and take vengeance for you. I will dry up her sea and make her fountain dry,

(Jeremiah 51:37)  and Babylon shall become a heap of ruins, the haunt of jackals, a horror and a hissing, without inhabitant.

(Jeremiah 51:38)  "They shall roar together like lions; they shall growl like lions' cubs.

(Jeremiah 51:39)  While they are inflamed I will prepare them a feast and make them drunk, that they may become merry, then sleep a perpetual sleep and not wake, declares the LORD.

(Jeremiah 51:40)  I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams and male goats.

(Jeremiah 51:41)  "How Babylon is taken, the praise of the whole earth seized! How Babylon has become a horror among the nations!

(Jeremiah 51:42)  The sea has come up on Babylon; she is covered with its tumultuous waves.

(Jeremiah 51:43)  Her cities have become a horror, a land of drought and a desert, a land in which no one dwells, and through which no son of man passes.

(Jeremiah 51:44)  And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and take out of his mouth what he has swallowed. The nations shall no longer flow to him; the wall of Babylon has fallen.

(Jeremiah 51:45)  "Go out of the midst of her, my people! Let every one save his life from the fierce anger of the LORD!

(Jeremiah 51:46)  Let not your heart faint, and be not fearful at the report heard in the land, when a report comes in one year and afterward a report in another year, and violence is in the land, and ruler is against ruler.

(Jeremiah 51:47)  "Therefore, behold, the days are coming when I will punish the images of Babylon; her whole land shall be put to shame, and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.

(Jeremiah 51:48)  Then the heavens and the earth, and all that is in them, shall sing for joy over Babylon, for the destroyers shall come against them out of the north, declares the LORD.

(Jeremiah 51:49)  Babylon must fall for the slain of Israel, just as for Babylon have fallen the slain of all the earth.

(Jeremiah 51:50)  "You who have escaped from the sword, go, do not stand still! Remember the LORD from far away, and let Jerusalem come into your mind:

(Jeremiah 51:51)  'We are put to shame, for we have heard reproach; dishonor has covered our face, for foreigners have come into the holy places of the LORD's house.'

(Jeremiah 51:52)  "Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will execute judgment upon her images, and through all her land the wounded shall groan.

(Jeemiahr 51:53)  Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify her strong height, yet destroyers would come from me against her, declares the LORD.

(Jeremiah 51:54)  "A voice! A cry from Babylon! The noise of great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans!

(Jeremiah 51:55)  For the LORD is laying Babylon waste and stilling her mighty voice. Their waves roar like many waters; the noise of their voice is raised,

(Jeremiah 51:56)  for a destroyer has come upon her, upon Babylon; her warriors are taken; their bows are broken in pieces, for the LORD is a God of recompense; he will surely repay.

(Jeremiah 51:57)  I will make drunk her officials and her wise men, her governors, her commanders, and her warriors; they shall sleep a perpetual sleep and not wake, declares the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

(Jeremiah 51:58)  "Thus says the LORD of hosts: The broad wall of Babylon shall be leveled to the ground, and her high gates shall be burned with fire. The peoples labor for nothing, and the nations weary themselves only for fire."

(Jeremiah 51:59)  The word that Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, son of Mahseiah, when he went with Zedekiah king of Judah to Babylon, in the fourth year of his reign. Seraiah was the quartermaster.

(Jeremiah 51:60)  Jeremiah wrote in a book all the disaster that should come upon Babylon, all these words that are written concerning Babylon.

(Jeremiah 51:61)  And Jeremiah said to Seraiah: "When you come to Babylon, see that you read all these words,

(Jeremiah 51:62)  and say, 'O LORD, you have said concerning this place that you will cut it off, so that nothing shall dwell in it, neither man nor beast, and it shall be desolate forever.'

(Jeremiah 51:63)  When you finish reading this book, tie a stone to it and cast it into the midst of the Euphrates,

(Jeremiah 51:64)  and say, 'Thus shall Babylon sink, to rise no more, because of the disaster that I am bringing upon her, and they shall become exhausted.'" Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.

Revelation 14 is the first of the three chapters in the book which state fallen fallen is Babylon, it also contains a warning against the mark of the beast too which you need to avoid at all costs taking!

(Revelation 14:1)  Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.

(Revelation 14:2)  And I heard a voice from heaven like the roar of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. The voice I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps,

(Revelation 14:3)  and they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. No one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.

(Revelation 14:4)  It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb,

(Revelation 14:5)  and in their mouth no lie was found, for they are blameless.

(Revelation 14:6)  Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people.

(Revelation 14:7)  And he said with a loud voice, "Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water."

(Revelation 14:8)  Another angel, a second, followed, saying, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who made all nations drink the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality."

(Revelation 14:9)  And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,

(Revelation 14:10)  he also will drink the wine of God's wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

(Revelation 14:11)  And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name."

(Revelation 14:12)  Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.

(Revelation 14:13)  And I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Blessed indeed," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!"

(Revelation 14:14)  Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand.

(Revelation 14:15)  And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, "Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe."

(Revelation 14:16)  So he who sat on the cloud swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was reaped.

(Revelation 14:17)  Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle.

(Revelation 14:18)  And another angel came out from the altar, the angel who has authority over the fire, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, "Put in your sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe."

(Revelation 14:19)  So the angel swung his sickle across the earth and gathered the grape harvest of the earth and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

(Revelation 14:20)  And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as high as a horse's bridle, for 1,600 stadia.

Revelation 17 and 18 then talk and prophesy of the whore of Babylon and then the actual judgment and destruction of that evil place. I will not comment between these two chapters, either.

(Revelation 17:1)  Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who is seated on many waters,

(Revelation 17:2)  with whom the kings of the earth have committed sexual immorality, and with the wine of whose sexual immorality the dwellers on earth have become drunk."

(Revelation 17:3)  And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was full of blasphemous names, and it had seven heads and ten horns.

(Revelation 17:4)  The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality.

(Revelation 17:5)  And on her forehead was written a name of mystery: "Babylon the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth's abominations."

(Revelation 17:6)  And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her, I marveled greatly.

(Revelation 17:7)  But the angel said to me, "Why do you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast with seven heads and ten horns that carries her.

(Revelation 17:8)  The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to rise from the bottomless pit and go to destruction. And the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast, because it was and is not and is to come.

(Revelation 17:9)  This calls for a mind with wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated;

(Revelation 17:10)  they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while.

(Revelation 17:11)  As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction.

(Revelation 17:12)  And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings for one hour, together with the beast.

(Revelation 17:13)  These are of one mind, and they hand over their power and authority to the beast.

(Revelation 17:14)  They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful."

(Revelation 17:15)  And the angel said to me, "The waters that you saw, where the prostitute is seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages.

(Revelation 17:16)  And the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, and devour her flesh and burn her up with fire,

(Revelation 17:17)  for God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and handing over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.

(Revelation 17:18)  And the woman that you saw is the great city that has dominion over the kings of the earth."

(Revelation 18:1)  After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was made bright with his glory.

(Revelation 18:2)  And he called out with a mighty voice, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast.

(Revelation 18:3)  For all nations have drunk the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown rich from the power of her luxurious living."

(Revelation 18:4)  Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues;

(Revelation 18:5)  for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.

(Revelation 18:6)  Pay her back as she herself has paid back others, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed.

(Revelation 18:7)  As she glorified herself and lived in luxury, so give her a like measure of torment and mourning, since in her heart she says, 'I sit as a queen, I am no widow, and mourning I shall never see.'

(Revelation 18:8)  For this reason her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for mighty is the Lord God who has judged her."

(Revelation 18:9)  And the kings of the earth, who committed sexual immorality and lived in luxury with her, will weep and wail over her when they see the smoke of her burning.

(Revelation 18:10)  They will stand far off, in fear of her torment, and say, "Alas! Alas! You great city, you mighty city, Babylon! For in a single hour your judgment has come."

(Revelation 18:11)  And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn for her, since no one buys their cargo anymore,

(Revelation 18:12)  cargo of gold, silver, jewels, pearls, fine linen, purple cloth, silk, scarlet cloth, all kinds of scented wood, all kinds of articles of ivory, all kinds of articles of costly wood, bronze, iron and marble,

(Revelation 18:13)  cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and slaves, that is, human souls.

(Revelation 18:14)  "The fruit for which your soul longed has gone from you, and all your delicacies and your splendors are lost to you, never to be found again!"

(Revelation 18:15)  The merchants of these wares, who gained wealth from her, will stand far off, in fear of her torment, weeping and mourning aloud,

(Revelation 18:16)  "Alas, alas, for the great city that was clothed in fine linen, in purple and scarlet, adorned with gold, with jewels, and with pearls!

(Revelation 18:17)  For in a single hour all this wealth has been laid waste." And all shipmasters and seafaring men, sailors and all whose trade is on the sea, stood far off

(Revelation 18:18)  and cried out as they saw the smoke of her burning, "What city was like the great city?"

(Revelation 18:19)  And they threw dust on their heads as they wept and mourned, crying out, "Alas, alas, for the great city where all who had ships at sea grew rich by her wealth! For in a single hour she has been laid waste.

(Revelation 18:20)  Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God has given judgment for you against her!"

(Revelation 18:21)  Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, "So will Babylon the great city be thrown down with violence, and will be found no more;

(Revelation 18:22)  and the sound of harpists and musicians, of flute players and trumpeters, will be heard in you no more, and a craftsman of any craft will be found in you no more, and the sound of the mill will be heard in you no more,

(Revelation 18:23)  and the light of a lamp will shine in you no more, and the voice of bridegroom and bride will be heard in you no more, for your merchants were the great ones of the earth, and all nations were deceived by your sorcery.

(Revelation 18:24)  And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slain on earth."

Now Babylon is out of the way, and finished for I know the bible is true and all these prophecies will take place. I present the final chapters of Revelation for your edification so you all know how it all turns out. Again, I won’t say anything between to lessen the impact of God’s word:

(Revelation 19:1)  After this I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out, "Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,

(Revelation 19:2)  for his judgments are true and just; for he has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her immorality, and has avenged on her the blood of his servants."

(Revelation 19:3)  Once more they cried out, "Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up forever and ever."

(Revelation 19:4)  And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who was seated on the throne, saying, "Amen. Hallelujah!"

(Revelation 19:5)  And from the throne came a voice saying, "Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, small and great."

(Revelation 19:6)  Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, "Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.

(Revelation 19:7)  Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready;

(Revelation 19:8)  it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure"-- for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.

(Revelation 19:9)  And the angel said to me, "Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb." And he said to me, "These are the true words of God."

(Revelation 19:10)  Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, "You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God." For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

(Revelation 19:11)  Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.

(Revelation 19:12)  His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself.

(Revelation 19:13)  He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God.

(Revelation 19:14)  And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses.

(Revelation 19:15)  From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.

(Revelation 19:16)  On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.

(Revelation 19:17)  Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to all the birds that fly directly overhead, "Come, gather for the great supper of God,

(Revelation 19:18)  to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great."

(Revelation 19:19)  And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who was sitting on the horse and against his army.

(Revelation 19:20)  And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

(Revelation 19:21)  And the rest were slain by the sword that came from the mouth of him who was sitting on the horse, and all the birds were gorged with their flesh.

(Revelation 20:1)  Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain.

(Revelation 20:2)  And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years,

(Revelation 20:3)  and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.

(Revelation 20:4)  Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

(Revelation 20:5)  The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.

(Revelation 20:6)  Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.

(Revelation 20:7)  And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison

(Revelation 20:8)  and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea.

(Revelation 20:9)  And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them,

(Revelation 20:10)  and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

(Revelation 20:11)  Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them.

(Revelation 20:12)  And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.

(Revelation 20:13)  And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done.

(Revelation 20:14)  Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

(Revelation 20:15)  And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

(Revelation 21:1)  Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

(Revelation 21:2)  And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

(Revelation 21:3)  And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.

(Revelation 21:4)  He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."

(Revelation 21:5)  And he who was seated on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." Also he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."

(Revelation 21:6)  And he said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.

(Revelation 21:7)  The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.

(Revelation 21:8)  But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."

(Revelation 21:9)  Then came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues and spoke to me, saying, "Come, I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb."

(Revelation 21:10)  And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God,

(Revelation 21:11)  having the glory of God, its radiance like a most rare jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.

(Revelation 21:12)  It had a great, high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and on the gates the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel were inscribed--

(Revelation 21:13)  on the east three gates, on the north three gates, on the south three gates, and on the west three gates.

(Revelation 21:14)  And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

(Revelation 21:15)  And the one who spoke with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city and its gates and walls.

(Revelation 21:16)  The city lies foursquare, its length the same as its width. And he measured the city with his rod, 12,000 stadia. Its length and width and height are equal.

(Revelation 21:17)  He also measured its wall, 144 cubits by human measurement, which is also an angel's measurement.

(Revelation 21:18)  The wall was built of jasper, while the city was pure gold, clear as glass.

(Revelation 21:19)  The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every kind of jewel. The first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald,

(Revelation 21:20)  the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.

(Revelation 21:21)  And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, transparent as glass.

(Revelation 21:22)  And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb.

(Revelation 21:23)  And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb.

(Revelation 21:24)  By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it,

(Revelation 21:25)  and its gates will never be shut by day--and there will be no night there.

(Revelation 21:26)  They will bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations.

(Revelation 21:27)  But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life.

(Revelation 22:1)  Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb

(Revelation 22:2)  through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

(Revelation 22:3)  No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him.

(Revelation 22:4)  They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

(Revelation 22:5)  And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.

(Revelation 22:6)  And he said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place."

(Revelation 22:7)  "And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."

(Revelation 22:8)  I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me,

(Revelation 22:9)  but he said to me, "You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God."

(Revelation 22:10)  And he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.

(Revelation 22:11)  Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy."

(Revelation 22:12)  "Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done.

(Revelation 22:13)  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."

(Revelation 22:14)  Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates.

(Revelation 22:15)  Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

(Revelation 22:16)  "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star."

(Revelation 22:17)  The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.

(Revelation 22:18)  I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book,

(Revelation 22:19)  and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

(Revelation 22:20)  He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

(Revelation 22:21)  The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.

Jesus loves you more than you can know. While He will bring judgment on the wicked, and justly so, He also is patient and wants all to be saved and redeemed. He wants a relationship with each and every one of us, for He loves us so. He also is more than welcome back those who have fallen away like the father the prodigal son. So please pray this prayer with me:

Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess Jesus as our Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we will be saved. Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself. Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.

Amen.

God bless you and yours
