                                    Current times bible study

I believe we are at a key time that many events in bible prophecy are going to be shared very, very soon with others soon to be fulfilled, too. One of them is expressed in Psalm 83, a war in which many of Israel’s enemies come together and attack all at one time.

(Psalm 83:1)  A Song. A Psalm of Asaph. O God, do not keep silence; do not hold your peace or be still, O God!

(Psalm 83:2)  For behold, your enemies make an uproar; those who hate you have raised their heads.

(Psalm 83:3)  They lay crafty plans against your people; they consult together against your treasured ones.

(Psalm 83:4)  They say, "Come, let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be remembered no more!"

(Psalm 83:5)  For they conspire with one accord; against you they make a covenant--

(Psalm 83:6)  the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites,

(Psalm 83:7)  Gebal and Ammon and Amalek, Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;

(Psalm 83:8)  Asshur also has joined them; they are the strong arm of the children of Lot. Selah

(Psalm 83:9)  Do to them as you did to Midian, as to Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishon,

(Psalm 83:10)  who were destroyed at En-dor, who became dung for the ground.

(Psalm 83:11)  Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,

(Psa 83:12)  who said, "Let us take possession for ourselves of the pastures of God."

(Psalm 83:13)  O my God, make them like whirling dust, like chaff before the wind.

(Psalm 83:14)  As fire consumes the forest, as the flame sets the mountains ablaze,

(Psalm 83:15)  so may you pursue them with your tempest and terrify them with your hurricane!

(Psa 83:16)  Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek your name, O LORD.

(Psalm 83:17)  Let them be put to shame and dismayed forever; let them perish in disgrace,

(Psalm 83:18)  that they may know that you alone, whose name is the LORD, are the Most High over all the earth.

What with all the news with Syria, the chemical weapons and conflicts with Israel, and more I believe this prophecy in Isaiah 17 will also be filled before too long:

(Isaiah 17:1)  An oracle concerning Damascus. Behold, Damascus will cease to be a city and will become a heap of ruins.

(Isaiah 17:2)  The cities of Aroer are deserted; they will be for flocks, which will lie down, and none will make them afraid.

(Isaiah 17:3)  The fortress will disappear from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus; and the remnant of Syria will be like the glory of the children of Israel, declares the LORD of hosts.

(Isaiah 17:4)  And in that day the glory of Jacob will be brought low, and the fat of his flesh will grow lean.

(Isaiah 17:5)  And it shall be as when the reaper gathers standing grain and his arm harvests the ears, and as when one gleans the ears of grain in the Valley of Rephaim.

(Isaiah 17:6)  Gleanings will be left in it, as when an olive tree is beaten-- two or three berries in the top of the highest bough, four or five on the branches of a fruit tree, declares the LORD God of Israel.

(Isaiah 17:7)  In that day man will look to his Maker, and his eyes will look on the Holy One of Israel.

(Isaiah 17:8)  He will not look to the altars, the work of his hands, and he will not look on what his own fingers have made, either the Asherim or the altars of incense.

(Isaiah 17:9)  In that day their strong cities will be like the deserted places of the wooded heights and the hilltops, which they deserted because of the children of Israel, and there will be desolation.

(Isaiah 17:10)  For you have forgotten the God of your salvation and have not remembered the Rock of your refuge; therefore, though you plant pleasant plants and sow the vine-branch of a stranger,

(Isaiah 17:11)  though you make them grow on the day that you plant them, and make them blossom in the morning that you sow, yet the harvest will flee away in a day of grief and incurable pain.

(Isaiah 17:12)  Ah, the thunder of many peoples; they thunder like the thundering of the sea! Ah, the roar of nations; they roar like the roaring of mighty waters!

(Isaiah 17:13)  The nations roar like the roaring of many waters, but he will rebuke them, and they will flee far away, chased like chaff on the mountains before the wind and whirling dust before the storm.

(Isaiah 17:14)  At evening time, behold, terror! Before morning, they are no more! This is the portion of those who loot us, and the lot of those who plunder us.

Also in Egypt with its chaos is fulfilling the prophecies in Isaiah 19

(Isaiah 19:1)  An oracle concerning Egypt. Behold, the LORD is riding on a swift cloud and comes to Egypt; and the idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence, and the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them.

(Isaiah 19:2)  And I will stir up Egyptians against Egyptians, and they will fight, each against another and each against his neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom;

(Isaiah 19:3)  and the spirit of the Egyptians within them will be emptied out, and I will confound their counsel; and they will inquire of the idols and the sorcerers, and the mediums and the necromancers;

(Isaiah 19:4)  and I will give over the Egyptians into the hand of a hard master, and a fierce king will rule over them, declares the Lord GOD of hosts.

(Isaiah 19:5)  And the waters of the sea will be dried up, and the river will be dry and parched,

(Isaiah 19:6)  and its canals will become foul, and the branches of Egypt's Nile will diminish and dry up, reeds and rushes will rot away.

(Isaiah 19:7)  There will be bare places by the Nile, on the brink of the Nile, and all that is sown by the Nile will be parched, will be driven away, and will be no more.

(Isaiah 19:8)  The fishermen will mourn and lament, all who cast a hook in the Nile; and they will languish who spread nets on the water.

(Isaiah 19:9)  The workers in combed flax will be in despair, and the weavers of white cotton.

(Isaiah 19:10)  Those who are the pillars of the land will be crushed, and all who work for pay will be grieved.

(Isaiah 19:11)  The princes of Zoan are utterly foolish; the wisest counselors of Pharaoh give stupid counsel. How can you say to Pharaoh, "I am a son of the wise, a son of ancient kings"?

(Isaiah 19:12)  Where then are your wise men? Let them tell you that they might know what the LORD of hosts has purposed against Egypt.

(Isaiah 19:13)  The princes of Zoan have become fools, and the princes of Memphis are deluded; those who are the cornerstones of her tribes have made Egypt stagger.

(Isaiah 19:14)  The LORD has mingled within her a spirit of confusion, and they will make Egypt stagger in all its deeds, as a drunken man staggers in his vomit.

(Isaiah 19:15)  And there will be nothing for Egypt that head or tail, palm branch or reed, may do.

(Isaiah 19:16)  In that day the Egyptians will be like women, and tremble with fear before the hand that the LORD of hosts shakes over them.

(Isaiah 19:17)  And the land of Judah will become a terror to the Egyptians. Everyone to whom it is mentioned will fear because of the purpose that the LORD of hosts has purposed against them.

(Isaiah 19:18)  In that day there will be five cities in the land of Egypt that speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance to the LORD of hosts. One of these will be called the City of Destruction.

(Isaiah 19:19)  In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the LORD at its border.

(Isaiah 19:20)  It will be a sign and a witness to the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt. When they cry to the LORD because of oppressors, he will send them a savior and defender, and deliver them.

(Isaiah 19:21)  And the LORD will make himself known to the Egyptians, and the Egyptians will know the LORD in that day and worship with sacrifice and offering, and they will make vows to the LORD and perform them.

(Isaiah 19:22)  And the LORD will strike Egypt, striking and healing, and they will return to the LORD, and he will listen to their pleas for mercy and heal them.

(Isaiah 19:23)  In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and Assyria will come into Egypt, and Egypt into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians.

(Isaiah 19:24)  In that day Israel will be the third with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth,

(Isaiah 19:25)  whom the LORD of hosts has blessed, saying, "Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance."

I believe also that the prophecies in Jeremiah 49 will also soon happen before or after the rapture, according to God’s will:

(Jeremiah 49:1)  Concerning the Ammonites. Thus says the LORD: "Has Israel no sons? Has he no heir? Why then has Milcom dispossessed Gad, and his people settled in its cities?

(Jeremiah 49:2)  Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will cause the battle cry to be heard against Rabbah of the Ammonites; it shall become a desolate mound, and its villages shall be burned with fire; then Israel shall dispossess those who dispossessed him, says the LORD.

(Jeremiah 49:3)  "Wail, O Heshbon, for Ai is laid waste! Cry out, O daughters of Rabbah! Put on sackcloth, lament, and run to and fro among the hedges! For Milcom shall go into exile, with his priests and his officials.

(Jeremiah 49:4)  Why do you boast of your valleys, O faithless daughter, who trusted in her treasures, saying, 'Who will come against me?'

(Jeremiah 49:5)  Behold, I will bring terror upon you, declares the Lord GOD of hosts, from all who are around you, and you shall be driven out, every man straight before him, with none to gather the fugitives.

(Jeremiah 49:6)  "But afterward I will restore the fortunes of the Ammonites, declares the LORD."

(Jeremiah 49:7)  Concerning Edom. Thus says the LORD of hosts: "Is wisdom no more in Teman? Has counsel perished from the prudent? Has their wisdom vanished?

(Jeremiah 49:8)  Flee, turn back, dwell in the depths, O inhabitants of Dedan! For I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the time when I punish him.

(Jeremiah 49:9)  If grape-gatherers came to you, would they not leave gleanings? If thieves came by night, would they not destroy only enough for themselves?

(Jeremiah 49:10)  But I have stripped Esau bare; I have uncovered his hiding places, and he is not able to conceal himself. His children are destroyed, and his brothers, and his neighbors; and he is no more.

(Jeremiah 49:11)  Leave your fatherless children; I will keep them alive; and let your widows trust in me."

(Jeremiah 49:12)  For thus says the LORD: "If those who did not deserve to drink the cup must drink it, will you go unpunished? You shall not go unpunished, but you must drink.

(Jeremiah 49:13)  For I have sworn by myself, declares the LORD, that Bozrah shall become a horror, a taunt, a waste, and a curse, and all her cities shall be perpetual wastes."

(Jeremiah 49:14)  I have heard a message from the LORD, and an envoy has been sent among the nations: "Gather yourselves together and come against her, and rise up for battle!

(Jeremiah 49:15)  For behold, I will make you small among the nations, despised among mankind.

(Jeremiah 49:16)  The horror you inspire has deceived you, and the pride of your heart, you who live in the clefts of the rock, who hold the height of the hill. Though you make your nest as high as the eagle's, I will bring you down from there, declares the LORD.

(Jeremiah 49:17)  "Edom shall become a horror. Everyone who passes by it will be horrified and will hiss because of all its disasters.

(Jeremiah 49:18)  As when Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring cities were overthrown, says the LORD, no man shall dwell there, no man shall sojourn in her.

(Jeremiah 49:19)  Behold, like a lion coming up from the jungle of the Jordan against a perennial pasture, I will suddenly make him run away from her. And I will appoint over her whomever I choose. For who is like me? Who will summon me? What shepherd can stand before me?

(Jeremiah 49:20)  Therefore hear the plan that the LORD has made against Edom and the purposes that he has formed against the inhabitants of Teman: Even the little ones of the flock shall be dragged away. Surely their fold shall be appalled at their fate.

(Jeremiah 49:21)  At the sound of their fall the earth shall tremble; the sound of their cry shall be heard at the Red Sea.

(Jeremiah 49:22)  Behold, one shall mount up and fly swiftly like an eagle and spread his wings against Bozrah, and the heart of the warriors of Edom shall be in that day like the heart of a woman in her birth pains."

(Jeremiah 49:23)  Concerning Damascus: "Hamath and Arpad are confounded, for they have heard bad news; they melt in fear, they are troubled like the sea that cannot be quiet.

(Jeremiah 49:24)  Damascus has become feeble, she turned to flee, and panic seized her; anguish and sorrows have taken hold of her, as of a woman in labor.

(Jeremiah 49:25)  How is the famous city not forsaken, the city of my joy?

(Jeremiah 49:26)  Therefore her young men shall fall in her squares, and all her soldiers shall be destroyed in that day, declares the LORD of hosts.

(Jeremiah 49:27)  And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall devour the strongholds of Ben-hadad."

(Jeremiah 49:28)  Concerning Kedar and the kingdoms of Hazor that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon struck down. Thus says the LORD: "Rise up, advance against Kedar! Destroy the people of the east!

(Jeremiah 49:29)  Their tents and their flocks shall be taken, their curtains and all their goods; their camels shall be led away from them, and men shall cry to them: 'Terror on every side!'

(Jeremiah 49:30)  Flee, wander far away, dwell in the depths, O inhabitants of Hazor! declares the LORD. For Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has made a plan against you and formed a purpose against you.

(Jeremiah 49:31)  "Rise up, advance against a nation at ease, that dwells securely, declares the LORD, that has no gates or bars, that dwells alone.

(Jeremiah 49:32)  Their camels shall become plunder, their herds of livestock a spoil. I will scatter to every wind those who cut the corners of their hair, and I will bring their calamity from every side of them, declares the LORD.

(Jeremiah 49:33)  Hazor shall become a haunt of jackals, an everlasting waste; no man shall dwell there; no man shall sojourn in her."

(Jeremiah 49:34)  The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah.

(Jeremiah 49:35)  Thus says the LORD of hosts: "Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the mainstay of their might.

(Jeremiah 49:36)  And I will bring upon Elam the four winds from the four quarters of heaven. And I will scatter them to all those winds, and there shall be no nation to which those driven out of Elam shall not come.

(Jeremiah 49:37)  I will terrify Elam before their enemies and before those who seek their life. I will bring disaster upon them, my fierce anger, declares the LORD. I will send the sword after them, until I have consumed them,

(Jeremiah 49:38)  and I will set my throne in Elam and destroy their king and officials, declares the LORD.

(Jeremiah 49:39)  "But in the latter days I will restore the fortunes of Elam, declares the LORD."

These verses in Hosea speak of animals dying and also other conditions of people this day as well:

(Hosea 4:1)  Hear the word of the LORD, O children of Israel, for the LORD has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land. There is no faithfulness or steadfast love, and no knowledge of God in the land;

(Hosea 4:2)  there is swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.

(Hosea 4:3)  Therefore the land mourns, and all who dwell in it languish, and also the beasts of the field and the birds of the heavens, and even the fish of the sea are taken away.

(Hosea 4:4)  Yet let no one contend, and let none accuse, for with you is my contention, O priest.

(Hosea 4:5)  You shall stumble by day; the prophet also shall stumble with you by night; and I will destroy your mother.

(Hosea 4:6)  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

(Hosea 4:7)  The more they increased, the more they sinned against me; I will change their glory into shame.

(Hosea 4:8)  They feed on the sin of my people; they are greedy for their iniquity.

(Hosea 4:9)  And it shall be like people, like priest; I will punish them for their ways and repay them for their deeds.

(Hosea 4:10)  They shall eat, but not be satisfied; they shall play the whore, but not multiply, because they have forsaken the LORD to cherish

Also the people of today are very well described here in 2 Timothy 3

(2 Timothy 3:1)  But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty.

(2 Timothy 3:2)  For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,

(2 Timothy 3:3)  heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good,

(2 Timothy 3:4)  treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

(2 Timothy 3:5)  having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

(2 Timothy 3:6)  For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions,

(2 Timothy 3:7)  always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.

(2 Timothy 3:8)  Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith.

(2 Timothy 3:9)  But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men.

These verses have also occurred in churches, and other areas, because many can no longer endure sound teaching:

(2 Timothy 4:3)  For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,

(2 Timothy 4:4)  and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

I feel I must also put in these words in 1 Timothy 6 for they are also relevant to today:

(1 Timothy 6:3)  If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness,

(1 Timothy 6:4)  he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions,

(1 Timothy 6:5)  and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain.

(1 Timothy 6:6)  Now there is great gain in godliness with contentment,

(1 Timothy 6:7)  for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world.

(1 Timothy 6:8)  But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.

(1 Timothy 6:9)  But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.

(1 Timothy 6:10)  For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

Jesus has this advice in one of His end times chapters

(Matthew 24:4)  And Jesus answered them, "See that no one leads you astray.

(Matthew 24:5)  For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and they will lead many astray.

(Matthew 24:6)  And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.

(Matthew 24:7)  For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

(Matthew 24:8)  All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.

(Matthew 24:9)  "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake.

(Matthew 24:10)  And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.

(Matthew 24:11)  And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.

(Matthew 24:12)  And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.

(Matthew 24:13)  But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

Also there are these verses in Luke 21 which are relavant:

(Luke 21:25)  "And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves,

(Luke 21:26)  people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

(Luke 21:27)  And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

(Luke 21:28)  Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

(Luke 21:29)  And he told them a parable: "Look at the fig tree, and all the trees.

(Luke 21:30)  As soon as they come out in leaf, you see for yourselves and know that the summer is already near.

(Luke 21:31)  So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

(Luke 21:32)  Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all has taken place.

(Luke 21:33)  Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

(Luke 21:34)  "But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap.

(Luke 21:35)  For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth.

(Luke 21:36)  But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man."

Here is a promise of being hidden from the tribulations(rapture)

(Zephaniah 2:1)  Gather together, yes, gather, O shameless nation,

(Zephaniah 2:2)  before the decree takes effect --before the day passes away like chaff-- before there comes upon you the burning anger of the LORD, before there comes upon you the day of the anger of the LORD.

(Zephaniah 2:3)  Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, who do his just commands; seek righteousness; seek humility; perhaps you may be hidden on the day of the anger of the LORD.

We- I am including myself here, too- have Him to trust in Him, and believe in Him, that He will deliver us from these things. Paul encourages us also to do it in 1 Thessalonians 5
(1 Thessalonians 5:1)  Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you.

(1 Thessalonians 5:2)  For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

(1 Thessalonians 5:3)  While people are saying, "There is peace and security," then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

(1 Thessalonians 5:4)  But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief.

(1 Thessalonians 5:5)  For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness.

(1 Thessalonians 5:6)  So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.

(1 Thessalonians 5:7)  For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night.

(1 Thessalonians 5:8)  But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation.

(1 Thessalonians 5:9)  For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

(1 Thessalonians 5:10)  who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him.

(1 Thessalonians 5:11)  Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

Also this passage very strongly suggests that the rapture must happen before the tribulations, including the anti-Christ can happen.

(2 Thessalonians 2:1)  Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers,

(2 Thessalonians 2:2)  not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.

(2 Thessalonians 2:3)  Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,

(2 Thessalonians 2:4)  who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

(2 Thessalonians 2:5)  Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?

(2 Thessalonians 2:6)  And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time.

(2 Thessalonians 2:7)  For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way.

(2 Thessalonians 2:8)  And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.

(2 Thessalonians 2:9)  The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders,

(2 Thessalonians 2:10)  and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

(2 Thessalonians 2:11)  Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false,

(2 Thessalonians 2:12)  in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The rapture will also fulfill the promise that Jesus gives in John 14:

(John 14:1)  "Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.

(John 14:2)  In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

(John 14:3)  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.

(John 14:4)  And you know the way to where I am going."

(John 14:5)  Thomas said to him, "Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?"

(John 14:6)  Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Then after the rapture, and after the Antichrist takes charge there will be a false peace which is then followed by the sudden destruction spoken of in Ezekiel 38 and 39, the Ezekiel Gog and Magog war against Israel.

(Ezekiel 38:1)  The word of the LORD came to me:

(Ezekiel 38:2)  "Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him

(Ezekiel 38:3)  and say, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.

(Ezekiel 38:4)  And I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great host, all of them with buckler and shield, wielding swords.

(Ezekiel 38:5)  Persia, Cush, and Put are with them, all of them with shield and helmet;

(Ezekiel 38:6)  Gomer and all his hordes; Beth-togarmah from the uttermost parts of the north with all his hordes--many peoples are with you.

(Ezekiel 38:7)  "Be ready and keep ready, you and all your hosts that are assembled about you, and be a guard for them.

(Ezekiel 38:8)  After many days you will be mustered. In the latter years you will go against the land that is restored from war, the land whose people were gathered from many peoples upon the mountains of Israel, which had been a continual waste. Its people were brought out from the peoples and now dwell securely, all of them.

(Ezekiel 38:9)  You will advance, coming on like a storm. You will be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your hordes, and many peoples with you.

(Ezekiel 38:10)  "Thus says the Lord GOD: On that day, thoughts will come into your mind, and you will devise an evil scheme

(Ezekiel 38:11)  and say, 'I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will fall upon the quiet people who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having no bars or gates,'

(Ezekiel 38:12)  to seize spoil and carry off plunder, to turn your hand against the waste places that are now inhabited, and the people who were gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell at the center of the earth.

(Ezekiel 38:13)  Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all its leaders will say to you, 'Have you come to seize spoil? Have you assembled your hosts to carry off plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to seize great spoil?'

(Ezekiel 38:14)  "Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and say to Gog, Thus says the Lord GOD: On that day when my people Israel are dwelling securely, will you not know it?

(Ezekiel 38:15)  You will come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great host, a mighty army.

(Ezekiel 38:16)  You will come up against my people Israel, like a cloud covering the land. In the latter days I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when through you, O Gog, I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.

(Ezekiel 38:17)  "Thus says the Lord GOD: Are you he of whom I spoke in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel, who in those days prophesied for years that I would bring you against them?

(Ezekiel 38:18)  But on that day, the day that Gog shall come against the land of Israel, declares the Lord GOD, my wrath will be roused in my anger.

(Ezekiel 38:19)  For in my jealousy and in my blazing wrath I declare, On that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.

(Ezekiel 38:20)  The fish of the sea and the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep on the ground, and all the people who are on the face of the earth, shall quake at my presence. And the mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall fall, and every wall shall tumble to the ground.

(Ezekiel 38:21)  I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Lord GOD. Every man's sword will be against his brother.

(Ezekiel 38:22)  With pestilence and bloodshed I will enter into judgment with him, and I will rain upon him and his hordes and the many peoples who are with him torrential rains and hailstones, fire and sulfur.

(Ezekiel 38:23)  So I will show my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.

(Ezekiel 39:1)  "And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog and say, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.

(Ezekiel 39:2)  And I will turn you about and drive you forward, and bring you up from the uttermost parts of the north, and lead you against the mountains of Israel.

(Ezekiel 39:3)  Then I will strike your bow from your left hand, and will make your arrows drop out of your right hand.

(Ezekiel 39:4)  You shall fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your hordes and the peoples who are with you. I will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.

(Ezekiel 39:5)  You shall fall in the open field, for I have spoken, declares the Lord GOD.

(Ezekiel 39:6)  I will send fire on Magog and on those who dwell securely in the coastlands, and they shall know that I am the LORD.

(Ezekiel 39:7)  "And my holy name I will make known in the midst of my people Israel, and I will not let my holy name be profaned anymore. And the nations shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.

(Ezekiel 39:8)  Behold, it is coming and it will be brought about, declares the Lord GOD. That is the day of which I have spoken.

(Ezekiel 39:9)  "Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and make fires of the weapons and burn them, shields and bucklers, bow and arrows, clubs and spears; and they will make fires of them for seven years,

(Ezekiel 39:10)  so that they will not need to take wood out of the field or cut down any out of the forests, for they will make their fires of the weapons. They will seize the spoil of those who despoiled them, and plunder those who plundered them, declares the Lord GOD.

(Ezekiel 39:11)  "On that day I will give to Gog a place for burial in Israel, the Valley of the Travelers, east of the sea. It will block the travelers, for there Gog and all his multitude will be buried. It will be called the Valley of Hamon-gog.

(Ezekiel 39:12)  For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order to cleanse the land.

(Ezekiel 39:13)  All the people of the land will bury them, and it will bring them renown on the day that I show my glory, declares the Lord GOD.

(Ezekiel 39:14)  They will set apart men to travel through the land regularly and bury those travelers remaining on the face of the land, so as to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they will make their search.

(Ezekiel 39:15)  And when these travel through the land and anyone sees a human bone, then he shall set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon-gog.

(Ezekiel 39:16)  (Hamonah is also the name of the city.) Thus shall they cleanse the land.

(Ezekiel 39:17)  "As for you, son of man, thus says the Lord GOD: Speak to the birds of every sort and to all beasts of the field, 'Assemble and come, gather from all around to the sacrificial feast that I am preparing for you, a great sacrificial feast on the mountains of Israel, and you shall eat flesh and drink blood.

(Ezekiel 39:18)  You shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth--of rams, of lambs, and of he-goats, of bulls, all of them fat beasts of Bashan.

(Ezekiel 39:19)  And you shall eat fat till you are filled, and drink blood till you are drunk, at the sacrificial feast that I am preparing for you.

(Ezekiel 39:20)  And you shall be filled at my table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men and all kinds of warriors,' declares the Lord GOD.

(Ezekiel 39:21)  "And I will set my glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid on them.

(Ezekiel 39:22)  The house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God, from that day forward.

(Ezekiel 39:23)  And the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they dealt so treacherously with me that I hid my face from them and gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword.

(Ezekiel 39:24)  I dealt with them according to their uncleanness and their transgressions, and hid my face from them.

(Ezekiel 39:25)  "Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel, and I will be jealous for my holy name.

(Ezekiel 39:26)  They shall forget their shame and all the treachery they have practiced against me, when they dwell securely in their land with none to make them afraid,

(Ezekiel 39:27)  when I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them from their enemies' lands, and through them have vindicated my holiness in the sight of many nations.

(Ezekiel 39:28)  Then they shall know that I am the LORD their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations and then assembled them into their own land. I will leave none of them remaining among the nations anymore.

(Ezekiel 39:29)  And I will not hide my face anymore from them, when I pour out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, declares the Lord GOD."

This also ties in with the prophecies spoken of in Zechariah 12, mainly about everyone coming after Jerusalem.

(Zechariah 12:1)  The burden of the word of the LORD concerning Israel: Thus declares the LORD, who stretched out the heavens and founded the earth and formed the spirit of man within him:

(Zechariah 12:2)  "Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples. The siege of Jerusalem will also be against Judah.

(Zechariah 12:3)  On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will gather against it.

(Zechariah 12:4)  On that day, declares the LORD, I will strike every horse with panic, and its rider with madness. But for the sake of the house of Judah I will keep my eyes open, when I strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.

(Zechariah 12:5)  Then the clans of Judah shall say to themselves, 'The inhabitants of Jerusalem have strength through the LORD of hosts, their God.'

(Zechariah 12:6)  "On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a blazing pot in the midst of wood, like a flaming torch among sheaves. And they shall devour to the right and to the left all the surrounding peoples, while Jerusalem shall again be inhabited in its place, in Jerusalem.

(Zechariah 12:7)  "And the LORD will give salvation to the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not surpass that of Judah.

(Zechariah 12:8)  On that day the LORD will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the angel of the LORD, going before them.

(Zechariah 12:9)  And on that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

(Zechariah 12:10)  "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.

(Zechariah 12:11)  On that day the mourning in Jerusalem will be as great as the mourning for Hadad-rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.

(Zechariah 12:12)  The land shall mourn, each family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves;

(Zechariah 12:13)  the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the Shimeites by itself, and their wives by themselves;

(Zechariah 12:14)  and all the families that are left, each by itself, and their wives by themselves.

And also these verses in Zechariah 14 with a similar message

(Zechariah 14:12)  And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples that wage war against Jerusalem: their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.

(Zechariah 14:13)  And on that day a great panic from the LORD shall fall on them, so that each will seize the hand of another, and the hand of the one will be raised against the hand of the other.

(Zechariah 14:14)  Even Judah will fight at Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the surrounding nations shall be collected, gold, silver, and garments in great abundance.

(Zechariah 14:15)  And a plague like this plague shall fall on the horses, the mules, the camels, the donkeys, and whatever beasts may be in those camps.

The most important thing among the prophecies of wars, and other things is that all of the signs today, people wars, and pestilence and so on are pointing to an imminent rapture, so to conclude things:

Rapture

I will conclude and wrap this study up by saying that the way people are now(not unlike the way they were at Noah’s time and also Sodom, things which Jesus prophesied about in scriptures in Matthew, Mark and Luke)and all the many other end times signs which are occurring currently(animals dying, food prices rising, wars, rumors of wars, crazy weather and so on) are birth pangs of the coming tribulation period and  sure signs the rapture is not far way, indeed, I still believe that the rapture could be any day at any time, of which the Heavenly Father only knows). So cheer up, your redemption is drawing closer and closer every day that passes. Also please remember that  Jesus loves you more than You know, and also by posting this about the rapture, too, which does duplicate some of the scriptures, but that is for emphasis for the rapture is too important and you absolutely DO NOT want to miss it:

THE RAPTURE IS IMMINENT!!! ARE YOU READY????

I am very strongly led to believe the rapture is very imminent, and could happen any day at anytime at all. Nobody knows the exact time for the rapture but the Father God Himself. I cannot strongly enough advise all of you to get your hearts right with Jesus by asking the Holy Spirit to reveal to you if there is any Sin /iniquity/ uncleanness in your heart, mind etc and repenting of any and all items brought to your mind right away, asking the Holy Spirit to cleanse you and your garments so that they are spotless, being washed by the blood of Jesus. I am a man, needing the blood of Jesus for cleansing as much as everyone else, and believe me I am doing the same thing. This repenting is a continuous process, not just a one time thing; I have found that I myself have been repenting several times throughout the day. I know that it will be God's grace and mercy ONLY that I make the rapture, not anything I do, I am well aware of the fact that grace alone being what saves, and not works lest any should boast, but also faith without works is dead so I am sharing this with everyone, in the hopes that a few, even just one person, would wake up in time, and repent, for the remaining time here is very short.

I post and share this document for I deeply care for people and DO NOT want anyone to miss the rapture and find themselves left behind to face the 7 year tribulations which will follow the rapture which will be pure a horrific time on earth, the most horrific ever, in fact, where you will have to hide in caves or in mountains, away from all the evil and very selfish people, be an absolute survival expert, which many are not and absolutely refuse at all costs to take the mark of the beast(666).As a result of your refusal to take this mark, you won’t be able to buy or sell anything, work, eat, live in a normal way, and so on, and most likely you’ll be killed for it, but that is far better than taking the mark and ending up in the lake of fire for eternity, as each and every man and woman  who take the mark of the beast will end up in the lake of fire, where there will be absolutely no rest from their torment night or day(Revelation 14).  Even doing all the precautions, hiding by getting away from all population centers and into the mountains, and so on may not be enough because many if not most people, in fact will not survive the judgments that God will pour out on the world in this time period, in the seal, trumpet and bowl judgments as well as the judgment and destruction of the daughter of Babylon. All these events are described in good detail in the book of Revelation in chapters 6 through 18, which I strongly advise all to read. Here is a link an excellent animated video of the entire book of revelation for you to watch

The tribulation period of seven years absolutely will make today's evil world seem like life in paradise by comparison. I very strongly suggest reading the book of Revelation chapters 6 through 18 which tell you specifically what sort of events and judgments the world will see during this tribulation period.

Here are some rapture related scriptures:

(1 Corinthians 15:51) Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

(1 Corinthians 15:52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(1Thessolonians 4:16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

(1Thessolonians 4:17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

God wants to keep us from this tribulation by His love and mercy Because thou has kept the word of my patience, I ALSO WILL KEEP THEE FROM THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."  The implication of this verse is obvious:  If the end-time Christian does NOT stay close to the Lord and endure to the end, HE WILL NOT BE KEPT FROM THE TRIBULATION HOUR Revelation 3 verse 10, so it is IMPERATIVE to stay close to the Lord in these last days.

Now I have a very special warning message to all those who are lukewarm Christians to repent of this condition and to be on fire for Jesus or Jesus will surely spit you out of the rapture(see verse 16, below) and you will go through the seven year tribulation as it says in Revelation 3 14-22. There are FAR TOO MANY are in this condition the Holy Spirit warned me this AM. There are FAR TOO MANY LAODICEANS today. Please REPENT NOW of your lukewarmness and be on fire for the Lord before it is too late and you miss the rapture as a result of your being lukewarm!! Here are the verses in Revelation chapter 3 concerning the Laodicean church:

(Revelation 3:14) And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

(Revelation 3:15) I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

(Revelation 3:16) So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

(Revelation 3:17) Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

(Revelation 3:18) I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

(Revelation 3:19) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

(Revelation 3:20) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

(Revelation 3:21) To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

(Revelation 3:22) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Summarizing, you MUST all be ready for this coming rapture, AND be on FIRE for Jesus, and not be at all lukewarm but loving Jesus with ALL Your heart, mind and soul as commanded in the bible, in several places in both the old and new testaments. If in case you need to receive the Lord please pray the following prayer (backsliders can also use this prayer to repent of their sin and lukewarmness and recommit their lives, and return to their first love, Jesus. Please do so NOW before it is too late)

Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess Jesus as our Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we will be saved. Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself. Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.

Amen.

Here are 10 steps that can be of help to be ready for the soon to come rapture:

1. Make sure that you have received Jesus Christ into your life as your PERSONAL Lord and Savior(see the salvation prayer above and use it if need be).

2. Examine your own heart for any signs of backsliding, worldliness, unwatchfulness, compromising, and lukewarmness.

3. REPENT (Turn COMPLETELY away from sin and turn COMPLETELY around towards Jesus).  Sin separates you from God, even as a Christian.

4. Study end-time Biblical prophecy(Daniel 7-12, Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 17, 21, 1 Corinthians 15, 1 Thessalonians 4 and 5, other places but the  book of Revelation in particular)  until you become completely convinced that His Coming is, indeed, AT THE DOOR.  This will help keep you from temptation and sin.  JESUS IS COMING VERY SOON!!! Lord help me be absolutely convinced YOU ARE at the door!!!!!

5. Do something for the Lord.  (Passing out tracts would be a good start.)

6. Examine your priorities, lest the CARES OF THIS LIFE cause YOU to MISS THE RAPTURE, as we are so adamantly WARNED about in Luke 21, and so many other Scriptures.

7. Draw closer to God by praying, reading His Word, attending a fundamental church as often as possible, and surround yourself with a Christian atmosphere (Christian friends, books, music, radio, TV, etc.)

8. PRAY DILIGENTLY.  ASK THE LORD TO REVEAL TO YOU ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE THAT EVEN MIGHT KEEP YOU FROM THE RAPTURE.  PRAY THAT THE LORD WOULD GIVE YOU A PEACE, IF YOU ARE READY, AND AN UNREST AND UNEASINESS IN YOUR HEART, IF YOU ARE NOT READY.

9. Listen for His voice and then STAY OPEN TO THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

10. Act upon that which the Lord is calling you to do. DO IT NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!

Please also pray and ask the Lord Jesus to see if you are indeed ready and to give you peace if you and If the Lord has planted even the least bit of doubt or uneasiness in your heart, will you swallow your pride and pray this prayer with me:

"Dear Lord, Thank you for preparing a WAY OF ESCAPE from the horrible Tribulation to come.  It is my sincere desire to be ready for your Soon Return, so that I can participate in the Rapture. Give me a COMPLETE PEACE IN MY HEART FROM YOU if I am, indeed, ready. Let there be no false sense of security in my heart concerning my readiness for Your Return.  Begin to reveal to me things in my life and in my heart that might keep me from the Rapture.  Show me what I need to do to BE READY and then give me the power to act upon that which you show me to do.  Draw me away from the world and closer to you every day.  Use me in whatever way you can to help others

who may not be ready for your Return.  Fill me with your peace when I am ready and fill me with YOUR POWER, for victory over sin and temptation, and for effective service for your kingdom.  In Jesus' mighty name, Amen

If, by an unfortunate chance, you are finding yourself reading this testimony after the rapture has happened, and you find that you have missed it, everything is not lost by any means, just please pray immediately to accept the Lord Jesus as savior and /or recommit your life to Him, repenting of anything  and everything that you have done that has caused you to miss the rapture, especially such things as being lukewarm and whatever else you may do during that time absolutely DO NOT TAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST OR YOU WILL SPEND ETERNITY IN THE LAKE OF FIRE!!!!!(taking the mark of the beast means you are essentially married to Satan, the antichrist, the beast and false prophet,  ALL OF WHOM ARE DESTINED FOR THE LAKE OF FIRE, AS ARE ALL WHO TAKE THEIR MARK ON THEIR FOREHEAD OR HAND). IT IS NOT AT ALL FORGIVABLE TO TAKE THIS MARK- so again you must avoid taking this mark AT ALL COSTS you won’t be able to buy, sell, work, and so on, you will have to hide, living in the forest and away from civilization, face jail, torture, and be executed for refusing the mark. If you do die for refusing to take the mark of the beast, if you are Jesus’ you will go to heaven immediately as a tribulation saint and martyr spoken of in the book of revelation. I cannot strongly stress the point enough to NEVER, EVER accept the mark of the beast, no matter what!!!! It will be well worth it to lose everything and everyone in this world, including your life so as  to not have to spend all eternity in hell and the lake of fire, where again there will be never any rest on your torment day or night.
